    Absolutely Stunning, Amazing and Wonderful!!

    So I found Tom online on Bark and literally had no idea what I was doing, what costs were for a photographer, felt really overwhelmed and didn’t want to mess up by getting a bad photographer. It must had been God because the first person I connected with was Tom and BOY did I hit it right on the money! Thank you Jesus! Right away, he was very helpful at explaining everything, I felt comfortable with him and he was at a very affordable price. He answered my literal million questions and offered an engagement shoot for a next to nothing price! At the engagement shoot, I knew I had found the right photographer! He was funny, personable, made my now husband (who is not a fan of his picture being taken) feel very relaxed and comfortable and took the most gorgeous photos! He even recommended the place after I described what I was looking for. Engagement shoot day….. PERFECT! I loved that I did not have to wait long for my photos, I loved that he told us how to pose when we needed directions, I loved that he made us laugh the whole time. All the way up to the wedding, Tom was very easy to get ahold of, made himself very available to go over things and ideas and gave input when I asked for it. This man has so many years in the wedding Industry and it shows! He’s so knowledgeable about everything! Last minute I decided I needed a videographer and Tom was able to recruit Christian, who also, WAS AMAZING! Christian also was very personable, made us feel comfortable and was helpful to get us to do and say what we needed to get great video shots! Okay, wedding day!!! Tom showed up perfect timing, right when I was getting my makeup done and the guys were getting ready. He got amazing photos and my husband told me he even helped the guys do their ties because they didn’t know what they were doing… lol. Every single one of my wedding party couldn’t say enough good things about Tom and Christian. How funny Tom was, how Christian was such a detail person and saw everything little thing, how they really knew what they were doing and were both very professional. Tom took literally thousands of photos and I have been going through them every day, reliving my amazing day! Tom is a rockstar and so is Christian! They made my day perfect down to every little detail I asked for. I am so impressed with how many beautiful pictures I have. My husband and I can now look at our photos and relive every second of that day! Tom and Christian went above and beyond for us and I highly recommend for any occasion! We are definitely using him in the future and referring him to everyone we can. Thank you Tom and Christian.

    Pre-Wedding

    We had our pre-wedding photoshoot with Tom at Pasadena City Hall, and it was such a memorable experience! From the very beginning, Tom made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which really helped us enjoy the session instead of feeling nervous in front of the camera. Tom knows Pasadena City Hall incredibly well and guided us through the venue to all the best photo locations. He gave great posing directions while keeping everything natural, making the entire session fun and stress-free. We were able to capture so many beautiful shots around the City Hall that we'll always treasure. The edited photos were delivered incredibly quickly, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Every image was beautifully edited and perfectly captured the emotions and excitement of this special milestone. We highly recommend Tom and LA Digital Photo to anyone looking for a talented photographer who creates a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience.     Photography Perfection

    Tom did a beautiful job of capturing our wedding day. We had the pleasure of booking Tom early on, and got a great deal that included engagement photos! If I’m being totally honest… the price felt too good to be true! Most wedding photography is wildly expensive… but we were so happy to find Tom who provided a reasonable quote ! We were nervous that the quality might not be the best, after all, he’s on the cheaper end of the spectrum. But man….. what a total score for us. We got HIGH QUALITY service that would normally cost us thousands and thousands of dollars. My fiance and I were so impressed with the engagement photos, we could not wait to see what beautiful magic he would come up with on our wedding day. He did not disappoint… Tom delivered such beautifully captured moments that I still look at on the daily. His work speaks for itself. My husband and I feel like Tom was almost more helpful than our coordinator! He directed everyone when it came to photos, which is exactly what I needed ! I was able to relax the entire time because Tom took it upon himself to be in charge… cannot emphasize what that did for us. We just got to enjoy the moment. If you want to perfectly capture that one special day AND get an additional coordinator in the process, pick Tom. And quite frankly, it was a steal. Tom should be charging much much more. Get this… our photos were ready TWO DAYS LATER. No extra cost. The videographer, Christian, he brought on was also so very talented. When I watched the video back… I was in tears. Absolute cinema. Christian and Tom were so fun and kind, I really wanted them to stay longer, OFF the clock just as as our guests! Don’t think it over… I promise you will not regret hiring these two. Book them before they become unavailable!

    WOW and WOW again!!

    Okay, so I've never done anything like this before. Never had a photo shoot or anything close to it. I was a little nervous and my fiancé was definitely not excited because he is not a picture/camera type of guy. First off, Tom made us feel so comfortable and made a funny little joke right from the gate. He didn't give us even a second to feel weird. He guided us to the right poses and then let us do what felt natural. AND OH MY GOSH!! The results were EPIC! It couldn't had been a more perfect session with such an amazing photographer!! He is amazing!!!! I just can't wait for him to do our wedding!!! I highly recommend him and will be using him for ANY and ALL future events and special memories!

    THE BEST

    Tom was amazing, kind, and HILARIOUS. He made us both laugh non stop during our photoshoot. We had rented a car for our shoot and the company owner was present during the shoot. That person was extremely rude and almost ruined our moment.. we eloped and didn’t have any pictures so this was basically our once in a life time wedding memories and Tom did not let this guy ruin our day. Tom made us forget how rude the other guy was and we enjoyed our wedding shoot together and laughed so much! Thanks for the laughs and memories and the great photos, Tom! Oh, and the photos were suppose to be ready in about 4-5 days since he was busy with other bookings. Nope, he got right to work and sent them the next morning and they were BEAUTIFUL!

Tom started LA Digital Photo in 2003 and has been a full time photographer since then with a couple times where he returned to retail working for Target as a store manager, Lens Crafters as a store manager and most recently as a specialist at Apple. His team has been with him as well on and off over the years with no one with less than 10 years with us and we are all back for 2025!
It depends on the length of the event, but on average Tom provides 200-300 images per hour on most weddings. All are edited and all are giving in 10 days or less.
Yes we have two amazing videographers with us. Christian and Julian are exceptional at their craft. Turnaround time is approximately 2 months from event date. And yes we also give you all the RAW captured video as well. Most charge a small fortune to get that!
Yes we do. Most often we can send them the proof of insurance directly to them. Others require us to have them named as the beneficiaries of our coverage. If this is the case we ask for a $25 fee to cover that rewriting of our policy.
In 23 years this has only happened 2 times. Yep 2 in over 1200 captured events. For both events we had one of our team cover these couples.
For photography we color correct and make other adjustments to make your photos look consistent as possible from beginning to the end. Other adjustments include black and white levels, brightness/exposure and the like. If you need photoshop work completed for something like a stray hair, we will also do this on a handful of key images at no charge. Extensive PS work like acne or scars etc., are done at a rate of $30/image. This is not common. If you have specific concerns about your look or weight etc. please contact us before hand. Our job is to capture your day, not make you look like someone else. :)
If we are available and you are interested in booking us, book ASAP. We will not hold a date without a deposit and a contract. Our event calendar is open to no less than 6 venues who can see which of us are available and we very often get text messages booking us with little or no warning. Our bookings go out as far as 16 months.
LA Digital Photo is based on Pasadena, CA. We do have our team spread out from San Diego to Santa Barbara. Tom does not charge a travel fee from San Diego to San Luis Obispo and Bakersfield. For events outside this area please contact us. Yes we do travel outside this area and outside California. One of our team is also now living in Ohio so we can cover events back east as well.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
For photography it is 10 days or less for Tom. For his team it is generally under 14-20 days. An online gallery will be made and hosted for you for 2 years where you can view, download, share and print your photos. You may also print your files anywhere else you like without restrictions. WE DO NOT WATERMARK YOUR FILES! For videography it is approximately 2 months.
