We are a wedding + elopement duo serving the Nashville area + some other special places that make us happy. We can’t wait to meet you! We started capturing weddings through covid when we were stuck at home and needed to find some way to be creative. Savannah went to school for videography and Jon is an OG drummer turned videographer that has really enjoyed getting to create. If we aren’t celebrating you and your love story, you can find us at the beach, probably eating some yummy food, and missing our fluff ball kitty at home. We are so easy going and love to be spontaneous with our plans.

Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, but at the same time, it goes by in the blink of an eye! That is why I have spent years curating my wedding photography experience to create a space where you can be fully present, while still getting heirloom quality imagery that allows you to relive your day over and over again.

Hi there! I am Michelle, wife to Kevin and mom to Kaylee, Kennedy, and Kyla! I am a Nashville, TN based wedding and portrait photographer. Hi friend! Let me introduce myself - I'm Samantha Jade. My goal as your wedding photographer is to guide you throughout your wedding day in a way that puts you at ease, allowing me to capture your day as authentically and artistically as possible. As a hybrid photographer (both film and digital), I take a different approach to capturing your memories. By taking a step back, I am able to capture your day with so much intention - noticing all the small and "in between" moments that so often get missed.

I am the owner and head photographer of Lu's Lens Photography. I do 95% of the work with the exception of the occasional 2nd photographer or editor. And hey, I know how to run a business, too! I graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelors in Business, but there's no teaching an eye for photography - I see the moment before it even happens. I build out all the wedding timelines with my couples, so I'm on top of your details just as much as you. I travel everywhere but mainly in Michigan and Tennessee.

It all began when Nick asked me to be his girlfriend when we were seven years old. Now years later we have found a mutual love in documenting moments you can treasure for years to come. When you look back at your wedding day, we want you to instantly feel that you are back at your celebration surrounded by your biggest cheerleaders.

I specialize in smaller elopement style wedding, but I can bring a 2nd photographer to a larger wedding. I love the idea of spending time capturing the love of the day. Playing music while dancing in a field, or laughing as the groom makes jokes during pictures. Your day and pictures should be fun from start to finish.

Your wedding day is the one and only time everyone you love, everyone who has been part of you becoming you, will all be in the same place at the same time. It is a moment in time to be captured, cherished and one you will want to look back on again and again. To ensure you get candid images that will capture real emotion filled moments; you want an experienced professional photojournalistic style photographer.

In 2013, my love story began and in 2016, Matt and I tied got married! Two years ago, we moved to the Middle Tennessee with our two dogs, Brutus and Leonard, to start a new adventure in our lives. Just recently, we built our dream home! I absolutely love Mexican food, but Chuy’s creamy jalapeño dip has a special place in my heart! Most Saturdays growing up, I spent in a high school gymnasium competing as a baton twirler. If I wasn’t at a competition, I would spend my Saturday mornings with my parents watching dog shows. I’m a proud dog mom of 2! Anyone else relate?

The only thing better than making memories, is reliving them. I love photography for so many reasons but the opportunity to freeze a moment in time and cherish that memory forever is reason number one. One reason I love wedding photography specifically is how it incorporates all my photographic passions into one day! Landscapes, street photography, documentary, portrait, macro...I could keep going. I love photography and hope my passion for my work shines through in your final gallery.

Hello, my name is Japhet, and I would like to welcome you to JAO Photography. I'm a wedding and lifestyle photographer based out of the greater Nashville area. For as far back as I can remember, I have always had an interest in photography. But it wasn’t until a few years ago, when I was gifted my first professional grade camera, that I knew how much photography truly meant to me. I took photos constantly and studied some of today’s greats. And now, that passion for photography, also drives me to be better today than I was yesterday. I take every session as an opportunity to capture great moments in time to be shared for a lifetime.

In 2007, I moved to Nashville where I met my future husband, Taylor. We're now married and live with our toddler and dysfunctional dog in Nashville, TN. I've been photographing full-time since 2009. It really bothers me that the last sentence rhymes. Here are a few things I think you should know about me.
