Since 1930, our family has been baking quality products for dessert lovers like you. Our story begins with my father-in-law, John Slove, being hired to work as an apprentice in a Chicago bakery. While there he learned everything there is to know about baking. Then, in 1946, he and my mother-in-law, Grace, opened their own bakery on Diversey Avenue in Chicago – Slove Bakery. Their goal was to produce great quality desserts and provide excellent customer service: he did the baking; she the handshaking. Through hard work and determination, they grew the business and the bakery’s reputation as one of the finest in the Chicagoland area.

I’m Irina, the owner and creator behind CandyBliss. My love for dessert tables began while planning my son’s big celebration. As I searched for the perfect sweets and displays, I realized I had a true passion for creating beautifully styled dessert tables filled with unique candies and delicious chocolate treats. What started as a special moment for my family quickly turned into a creative journey. I found joy in selecting color-themed candies and designing displays that bring excitement and happiness to every event. We offer over 30 flavors of gourmet popcorn in either personalized packet size, or in bulk for popcorn bars. Any of our stocked flavors are available, and we can order many flavors that we don't normally carry to suit you. Our popcorn is perfect for reception snacks, wedding favors, bridal shower favors, or gift bags for your out of town guests. We can also custom color our popcorn to match your wedding colors, or do custom mixes like the always popular and delicious "Chicago Mix."
