I truly do not have enough positive descriptors for our experience with Mama Mak’s events. Makayla was very communicative from the very beginning, and worked to create gorgeous bouquets that matched our inspiration completely. Aside from the lovely arrangements, Makayla stayed for the entire event after our caterer failed to show up, helping in every way that she could with set up, being welcoming to our guests, and otherwise going above and beyond. The floral arrangements were beautiful, and afterward, Makayla helped us to find a great place to donate the flowers, and delivered them there for us as well. She’s an absolutely lovely person with incredible talent and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

My flowers were PERFECT. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen without any confusion. I even messaged her a few times to add and change things and she was on it every single time. On our wedding day, the flowers were exactly what I envisioned. They were stunning arrangements and she seriously made my Pinterest dreams come true. I loved them so much that I decided to dry and preserve them as a keepsake from the day and they are still beautiful. The quality was worth every penny. LH Floral
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Diamond Springs, CA

I’ve worked, trained, and competed as a florist sense 2022. In 2025 I got the opportunity to start doing weddings and events on my own from wich I have grown so much in confidence and communication. Previous to this I competed across the state including placing third in CA state finals 2025. Additionally I have assisted and trained under many talented florists, including working at a flower farm, and now working in a floral shop. I may be young but I do have the experience and ability to deliver or maybe exceed your creative vision!

Lilah was truly amazing and she played such an important part of making my daughter’s wedding day everything she had dreamed of! As a mom, there is nothing more special than watching your daughter’s vision come together in the most beautiful way. From the bouquets and boutonnieres to the gorgeous table arrangements, every detail was absolutely stunning. The flowers were thoughtfully designed and perfectly captured my daughter’s style. Not only is Lilah talented, she is very easy to work with. After our initial meeting, she provided us with a presentation which included flower options, arrangements, and pricing. We received so many compliments on the flowers, and we're so grateful to Lilah for helping make our precious memories even more beautiful. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented florist who will put so much care and love into making your special day unforgettable!!

Timeless Arches, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,200
  • Serves Diamond Springs, CA

Timeless Arches was born from a lifelong love of flowers and a belief that beauty shouldn't be fleeting. Growing up in a florist shop, I developed an eye for floral design — and when premium faux florals became indistinguishable from the real thing, I found the perfect medium: stunning, sustainable, and built to last. We create show-stopping ceremony installations — arches, flower walls, urns, and aisle décor — designed to anchor your most photographed moments. Many pieces travel beautifully to your reception for a sweetheart table, cake table, or entryway display. Serving couples across Sacramento, Reno & Lake Tahoe.

From the moment we first reached out to Timeless Arches, LLC, we knew we had found the right florist for our wedding. Their team was responsive and clear about what they could do for us, which made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free. On our ceremony day, they delivered exactly what we envisioned—the urns and pedestals looked magazine-worthy, and the flowers were so realistic we had to do a double take. The setup was stunning and truly transformed our space into something magical. They went above and beyond what we expected, and we are so grateful to have chosen them. I highly recommend Timeless Arches to any couple looking to make their ceremony unforgettable.

  • Serves Diamond Springs, CA

Welcome friends! My name is Elissa, and I own Elissa Dunn Floral Studio. I provide floral designs for weddings and events in Northern CA. I currently reside in El Dorado Hills with my husband and our two dogs, Cash & Cooper. When I am not flowering, I enjoy fly fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve always had a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, however upon graduating school I had no idea what I wanted to pursue. A close friend helped me to secure an office admin job at an amazing floral design company in the Bay Area.

Awarded Best of Zola
Elissa and team did an amazing job delivering florals across a very large surface area of settings for our ambitious, multi-day wedding up in the Sierras near Yosemite National Park. She captured our aesthetic perfectly, delivering a floral suite that felt natural to the outdoorsy setting but still elevated and special. She has a great attention to detail, adjusting and refining the flowers throughout each event to ensure they were still up to standard. Our florals were in good hands with her and we can recommend her easily!

Joanie and Bloom
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Diamond Springs, CA
  • Offer

At Joanie and Bloom, every arrangement begins with a story—yours. We combine the soft romance of vintage charm with the refined beauty of modern elegance to create event floral designs that feel deeply personal and unforgettable.

Before getting married, I had the pleasure of witnessing the stunning floral arrangements created by Joanie and Bloom at a friend's wedding. The moment I saw their work, I knew that I wanted to book them for my own special day. At that time, I didn't have much knowledge about flowers or a clear vision of what I wanted, but that didn't stop me from reaching out to them. When I connected with Anna from Joanie and Bloom, she was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. She helped me navigate the vast world of floral design, offering suggestions and insights into which flowers would complement my wedding theme. Together, we discussed my aesthetic preferences and color palette, and she was able to translate my vague ideas into something beautiful and cohesive. For our wedding, we decided on seven bouquets and matching boutonnieres for the bridal party, as well as two elegant small arrangements for our arch. Despite the tight timeline (we planned our wedding in just two months) Anna worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was perfect. The end result was absolutely breathtaking! The florals added a touch of elegance and charm to our celebration, making it even more memorable. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out, and I wholeheartedly recommend Joanie and Bloom. I would absolutely book them again for any future occasion!

Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
