I'm a California native with a wanderlusting soul. I grew up in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe and spent my teenage years in the rainforests of Costa Rica before returning to the West Coast of the United States to study the art of wedding photography and earn my BFA with Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California.

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Whatever the occasion, whatever the venue, I strive to make the most out of life, capturing vibrant, authentic smiles, celebrating each moment, and spreading positive vibes. Though I specialize in couples photography, engagement sessions, and weddings in the Santa Barbara / Southern California area, I’m also available for maternity sessions and destination weddings.

I'm Natalie, I am a local photographer based in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. I mostly focus on intimate and smaller elopements, weddings, and events. The Santa Barbara Courthouse is often where you will find me, photographing civil weddings/elopements, and sometimes bigger weddings in the Mural room or Sunken Gardens. For the past 20 years I've worked on over 230 weddings (and counting!).
