Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (110 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Harrison, TN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We used Flower Moxie for our DIY wedding flowers and couldn't be happier with our choice. The team was quick to get back to us and super flexible when we wanted to adjust our order. When the flowers arrived on our wedding day, they looked stunning and fresh. The quality was exactly what we hoped for, and everything came together beautifully for our ceremony and reception. For the price, we felt like we got great value and would definitely recommend them to other couples looking to do their own florals. Thanks Flower Moxie for making our day special!”

“Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Hi! My name is Julie, and I'm the owner of Jules Fern Events. I'm here to help bring your wedding vision to life! It's one of the most magical days of your life, and that's important to me. I love what I do, and I make it my goal to ensure your happiness with everything.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Julie and her assistant Sarah are both so WONDERFUL! Julie was both my florist and month of coordinator for my wedding in May and she and Sarah could not have done a better job. I found Julie’s page long before we had picked our venue or had a wedding date but I quickly followed her page as I had immediately fell in love with florals. As soon we signed the contract for our venue I reached out to Julie to see if she was available for our date and she was the first vendor we booked! I had millions of questions for Julie throughout the whole process and she was always quick to communicate back and always super helpful. Julie was always happy to give me ideas of what would work best for our venue and our budget, no matter how many times I changed my mind. She helped me decide on our final flower colors, when I decided that I couldn’t do it myself lol. She also helped us find last minute vendor help that I couldn’t imagine having gone without. Not only was Julie professional, but her sweet and funny personality was a joy to be around. She even joined us on the dance floor for High School Musical and to dance with our Pitbull cutout. I was back and forth on if I was going to have my bouquet preserved but by the end of the planning process it turned into something I didn’t want to worry about. At the end of the night Julie asked if it needed to be sent somewhere for preservation and my husband explained the situation and Julie was kind enough to take it home with her and drop it off with a company the next day. 1000/10 recommend having Julie help with your wedding day. Book her!!!”

Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

The Dainty Daydream
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Harrison, TN

Hi Im Emily :) A wedding Planner turned Florist. I have a love for all things pretty including event design and florals. I love designing anything from organic to refined flowers. Which means any design ideas you bring to me will be a fun challenge i'm up for.

“Working with Emily at The Dainty Daydream was so easy. I had ideas of an abundance of citrus fruits in baskets and cut open on the tables to accompany the flowers and add a fun, summer vibe - and she delivered exactly what I wanted. When we mentioned wanting orange trees by the altar, she didn't say no when she found out orange trees were not in season in summer. Instead, she got creative. Emily sourced the citrus trees and tied oranges to the leaves with clear string so they looked like they were in bloom. It was so beautiful and very creative. I also had concerns right before our wedding that our contracted arrangements might feel small for what I was picturing, but Emily stepped up and sourced fluffy florals that made everything look lush, vibrant, and exactly the size we needed. She has a real talent for solving problems and delivering arrangements that feel abundant without being over the top. Emily's work was beautiful and her willingness to find solutions instead of roadblocks made the whole process smooth. We'd absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who actually listens and delivers.”

They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Edit: we moved towns to increase our walk ins and changed our name to Lydias Lavender Lane. Check us out over there on that Zola listing! We’d love to be a part of your big day! Opened in 2016, Thistle & Vine has became a staple in the small rural town of Ider, Alabama. Gold & Bloom
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $6,500
  • Serves Harrison, TN

I first started Gold & Bloom ten years ago with the purpose of bringing joy to other's lives through florals. I was a teacher for six years before taking a leap of faith and starting this beautiful floral business, and I'm so thankful that I did. We now have well over two hundred weddings under our belt, and it's a blessing to be a part of such special moments.

“There are truly no words that feel quite right to capture how grateful I am for Jenna and her team at Gold and Bloom. From the very beginning, Jenna was more than just a vendor—she felt like a friend. She is kind, genuine, and so deeply thoughtful, and it was clear from our very first conversation that she truly cares. She listened with such intention, asked questions that helped me dig into what I actually wanted, and turned my jumbled ideas into the MOST stunning florals for my wedding I could have ever dreamed of. Jenna has an incredible gift—not just for flowers, but for people. She’s a true visionary with a calm, reassuring presence, and every interaction with her made me feel more at peace during what can be such a stressful process. She will take time to sit down with you in person and truly dissect what you want your flowers to look like on your big day. She was also so transparent and clear about pricing, options, and expectations, which made me feel empowered and never in the dark. She also will give you different options on ways to use the florals in multiple different ways which will really give you a “bang for your buck” type of experience which is exactly what I was looking for in a wedding florist. On the day of the wedding, she and her team went above and beyond in ways I’ll never forget. They are efficient while also being meticulous , not to mention the nicest people you will ever meet! Every floral detail—from the ceremony to the reception—was executed with care, beauty, and heart. And my bouquet… it was absolutely breathtaking. Jenna truly brought my exact vision to life. The weather was uncertain that day, and I had some anxieties. However I kept looking down at my beautiful bouquet and it grounded me. It reminded me that even in the chaos, beauty always finds its way. Jenna gave me more than flowers—she gave me comfort, confidence, and a little piece of calm in the middle of it all. If you’re considering Gold and Bloom, know this: you’re not just hiring a florist—you’re welcoming someone into your story who will treat it with the care it deserves. I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you so much to Gold and Bloom for giving me the florals of my dreams!”

Hi! I'm Katy, the owner and floral designer here at Dogwood Floral. We are a Knoxville floral studio specializing in garden-style and bespoke floral arrangements in East Tennessee. This style is a more organic approach to floristry than some of the more classic forms, and aims to reflect the ways that flowers and foliage grows naturally. This is why it sometimes has that "wild" or more "messy", often greenery-heavy look. We love incorporating a lot of texture into our designs to add visual interest and depth! ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we would love to chat about your needs.

“Katy was absolutely brilliant to work with. Her flowers gorgeous and exactly what I’d hoped for! She communicates clearly and in a timely manner, was flexible when I changed my mind, and made sure delivery ran smoothly day-of. I can’t recommend her enough!”
