Aloha! I'm Roman. I've been living on the magical island of O'ahu since I came to UH Manoa in 2009 for my Economics Degree. I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

Aloha, I'm Joshua Nakazawa, Hawaii Symphony Orchestra cellist and owner of Mana Music Hawaii. I play ukulele and guitar as well, and teach music at the University of Hawaii. I am a Na Hoku award winner. My unique specialty is the lovely Hawaiian Lap Steel Guitar. This instrument’s unique sound will immediately transport listeners to the days of old Hawaii with gentle breezes and a relaxed feeling of Aloha. Don began playing violin at age five, while living in Karachi, Pakistan. His Rumanian father gave him his first lessons. Continuing his studies, Don attended music conservatories in Paris and Rome, culminating in 1975, when he began exploring music beyond the classical realm. Since then he has performed and recorded with numerous jazz, folk and rock musicians, and also classical. His credits include playing in orchestras for such luminaries as Ella Fitzgerald and Pavarotti. Presently making his home on Maui, Hawai`i, he divides his time between performing, teaching, recording & swimming in the warm ocean.
