He was very professional and easy to work with from the beginning and we knew after our first conversion he'd be able to get the party going. It really made a difference that he took the time to learn about the flow of the wedding and our musical preferences. On the wedding day, he made sure everything was ready before our guests arrived by coming early to set things up. He even had backup music ready in case the musicians had to cancel due to inclement weather. He even mic'd our officiant for the ceremony. The music choice for the reception flowed naturally from our wedding through cocktail hour and into the evening. He supplied excellent uplighting, which really improved the dance party's ambiance. “Matt was extremely helpful with every aspect of the evening. He was such a good MC/DJ. We had rented a neon sign and backdrop from our venue and he spent an hour adjusting his photo booth camera to make sure it would pick up the sign. This photo isn't from his camera, it's form the photographer's, but I wanted to show the backdrop! We also extended him 30 minutes when we decided the party wasn't over yet and he whole heartedly agreed. I would definitely pick him again if I had another event in Estes Park!”

I was even able to share a Spotify playlist with him. He also MC’d the wedding announcing everything through the night, and even touched based with us through the night. “Review for CCMG (Day-of Coordinator: Bryanne, DJ/Officiant: Ontoneyo) Our overall experience with CCMG was very positive, and I truly appreciated the dedication and effort that went into making our wedding day special. Bryánne, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly, from start to finish. Her attentiveness and organization helped make the day feel seamless, and her thoughtful gesture of bringing a gift for our ceremony was incredibly kind and memorable. I felt completely supported by her presence throughout the day, and she handled every detail with care and professionalism. Ontoneyo, who served as both our DJ and officiant, brought great energy and worked hard to help set up for our reception. The ceremony itself went a bit differently than we had planned — I had written a promise for the officiant to read to our guests, but instead, my husband and I were asked to read it ourselves, which was challenging since my husband has dyslexia. This created some unexpected stress in the moment. Additionally, there were a few hiccups with music timing (our reception entrance song, for example), and the song selection during the reception wasn’t quite what we had envisioned. We were hoping for a mix that appealed to all generations, but a few choices felt out of place for our crowd. There were also a few personal announcements made over the mic that I felt took away from the professionalism of the evening. That said, both Bryánne and Ontoneyo were incredibly helpful in setting up and ensuring things ran as planned. I was especially impressed that they arrived earlier than our contract stated, which showed genuine commitment to making sure everything was ready on time. Overall, I’m grateful to CCMG for their hard work, positive attitude, and dedication to making our day special. I would definitely recommend them for day-of coordination services, as that part of our experience was exceptional. With a few refinements to music curation and communication during the event, CCMG could truly deliver a five-star experience.”

Everyone was having an absolute blast, dancing and having the best time. we still have people telling us how much fun they had and how great our DJ was! “Working with Hovey Entertainment was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Eric himself responded to every question we had quickly and knew exactly what we needed to make our day special. When you hire Eric, you actually get Eric. From the first call to the wedding day it’s always him you’re talking to and working with. No surprises! What really stood out was how his photobooth attendant went above and beyond. She overheard me crying to my best friend before our grand entrance that our coordinator had completely forgotten to set out the empty chair we'd set aside for my dad. He passed before the wedding and no attention was given to that beyond important detail. She left the booth, went and hunted it down, and then personally made sure it was positioned just right and set up with his name and reserved sign by the bar which meant the world to me. It wasn’t even her job but she sprung to action without even thinking and fixed it. When I apologized for crying to her about it she put her hand on my shoulder and told me she completely understood in a way that just made me feel like she actually got how important that was for me. She was amazing. The entertainment itself was stellar and felt exactly like what we'd envisioned for our wedding. We barely had to do any work. Eric did it all. All we told him was the vibe, some favorites, and songs for specific moments. He nailed it all. Eric's professionalism and attention to detail made everything run seamlessly, and honestly, we'd hire him again and again without hesitation. If you're looking for a DJ that truly cares about getting it right, Hovey Entertainment is the way to go. We did uplighting, photobooth, and full day DJ services. 100% worth what we paid. Quotes were higher for Eric than others, but not by much and I promise you’re paying for the professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge it’s going to be perfect with the actual person you hired. He’s worth the few extra hundred. Our venue even reached out to us after and told us how impressed they were with Eric. I hope he made it onto their preferred list. He deserves it! I like to DJ the music that’ll bring a crowd together and get them dancing. I do accept song requests and I always have my notebook ready for the guest to write down what they want to hear. Some past clients have said it is the most fun they’ve ever had & best night of their life’s when I DJ their event.
