“Michaela and I got married on September 6, 2026 at The Madison in Cleveland, and booking Sean was one of the best decisions we made. Before the big day, Sean checked in with several times, making sure our vision would come to life. His attention to detail during these touch points was so appreciated. “I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. “Isaac was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we couldn't be happier we chose Love Knot Photography for our wedding. From the start, what stood out was how much he cared about capturing the actual feeling of the day rather than just working through a checklist of poses. He and his co-photographer had a great eye for the in-between moments — the little glances, the laughter, the chaos of getting ready — alongside all the formal shots we expected. Looking through our gallery afterward, so many of our favorite photos are ones we didn't even know were being taken. He was also just easy and calm to have around on a hectic day, which mattered more than we realized it would. Weddings move fast, and having a photographer who was unobtrusive but always exactly where he needed to be took one more thing off our minds. One of the things we appreciated most: he and his co-photographer stayed well past the time included in our package, all the way until we started dancing. That extra stretch of time meant they captured some of the best — and funniest — photos of the whole night, catching our friends and family completely in their element on the dance floor. It wasn't something we asked for; they just wanted to make sure they got the shots. Isaac also went well beyond the package once it came to editing. Our contract included 300 retouched photos, but we ended up with around 550 edited images and 717 total files between web and print resolution, including alternate crops and versions of several favorites. It's clear he genuinely cared about giving us as much of the day as possible, not just fulfilling a contract. We're so glad we chose Love Knot Photography, and we'll be treasuring these photos for years to come. He had the opportunity to work another wedding closer to where he is located but he had made the effort to come all the way to Vermont to visit and photograph my wedding! I could not be more blessed to have had him as our photographer!! My husband and I had a rough patch with our supposed DJ for our wedding, and Charlie was so kind to help me through those hard moments. He felt like family! His angels are so amazing as well!!! “Maurissa was without a doubt the BEST DECISION we made for our wedding day! I literally cannot say enough good things to do her and her services justice. Even our whole wedding party and family that interacted with Maurissa throughout wedding day have also shared how awesome she was. She was fantastic from the moment we had our first introduction – she was so communicative and reassuring and worked with us to make sure we knew everything about Mind of Mo services prior to booking. That first impression is what helped us make our choice with booking her, and boy-oh-boy did she follow-through more than we could have imagined! Maurissa was also extremely patient with me - as a Type A Bride, I had sent her a lengthy list of desired photos prior to wedding day. I joked that it was a lot and she made me feel like it was totally normal. I know now that I never had to do this because her vision was magical - our favorite and featured photo is from our Sneak Peeks and was all her! What you want in a photographer is not only someone who will capture amazing photos, but also someone who will guide you through your wedding day. This is the person you will have the most interaction with all day long. Maurissa made the day fun, breezy, and even when we did have those anticipated mishaps occur (we knew there’d be at least one) she swooped in and literally saved the day. I am not being dramatic – my false eyelashes fell off not once but TWICE. The first time was right before my first look with my husband which caused a delay in our Timeline, and Maurissa flawlessly pivoted to make sure we stayed on track with time while they were re-glued onto my face. Then the second time the eyelashes came off, it was Maurissa herself who stepped up to the plate to make sure those babies were glued on right before I walked down the aisle. In this moment of panic for me, Maurissa had a confidence and calm demeanor that quickly put me at ease (and those eyelashes didn’t move again the whole night). On top of everything, our wedding was also on the far East side of Michigan, and Maurissa is based in Minnesota. We are extremely thankful that her services were offered at this distance! Our Sneak Peek photos are STUNNING and we are so excited to see the rest of them when they are ready!”
