“I have worked with Cherie' for years as a fellow wedding vendor and over the past three years I have used her for two family weddings - mine and my daughter's! Her work is always top notch! The arrangements are beautiful - vivid colors, and their placement is always perfect! You can see all of that from her pictures, but here is what you can't see with your eyes - Cherie' cares more than anyone you will meet. She knows that you have worked so hard to put this wedding together and she won't let the small details get in the way to detract from the day. On my wedding day, the tablecloths provided by another vendor weren't right. This wasn't Cherie's responsibility, but she knew what was supposed to be there from our discussion in relation to the centerpieces. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.”

When I received the flowers, they were well packaged and came with simple but thorough instructions for preparing them. Alexa texted me and let me know they had been delivered and made sure I knew to wire the ranunculus and sent a very helpful video. My sister made my and my MOH bouquets and 10 bud vases, my mom and MIL made 4 wrist corsages, and I made 5 pocket boutonnières. We had a bunch leftover that we made into a giant bouquet for the dining room table at the house I got ready at. I did add a dozen orange tulips from a grocery store to the arrangements, but I 100% did not need to do that. “When I first got engaged I knew immediately that I wanted Kristin and her team at Merkels to be our florist. Kristin's attention to detail, willingness to try anything, and overall easy-going personality made the entire planning process with her so smooth. When we sat down to discuss the vision I had for my wedding I told her I was thinking blues, purples, whites, and I wanted the entire place to give off a coastal Italian vibe - which I was positive made no sense, but Kristin was the biggest yes-woman. She immediately understood what I wanted and was so helpful when sitting down to discuss what I was thinking for the wedding. On top of this, she was incredibly conscious of our budget and worked with me to make sure I got everything I wanted within my price range! Another thing I never got to compliment on was her memory & attention to details; I had asked for Dahlias and Peonies in my bouquet if possible - knowing it was probably not going to happen as they weren't in season ... “I don’t even know how to thank Stephanie at Lovebug Florals enough for the absolutely incredible job she did for our 5th Anniversary party. Her work went so far beyond anything I could have imagined. It truly blew my mind and exceeded every expectation. From our very first in-person meeting, I felt completely understood. We talked through my style and vision, and I trusted her enough to give her creative freedom — which was the best decision I could have made. She took my ideas and brought them to life in the most thoughtful, artistic, and stunning way. She went so far beyond what was asked of her as a florist as well. Stephanie hand-dipped and painted our taper candles, adding contrasting polka dots to match our theme, and also hand-painted our tea light vases. Every detail felt intentional and special. She even installed a massive, colorful bunting across the ceiling — something we hadn’t discussed — and it became one of the biggest highlights of the entire night. The colors, the styling, the feathers woven into the florals… it was all just perfect. Our guests were raving all night about the florals and installations, and honestly, it brought me so much joy. She was excellent at working with our budget! Most of her pieces were Reusable and we moved them several times around the space. She also made sure we had exactly the flowers that we wanted. She was also excellent at following our theme, (Summer fairy garden party) and her choices in color really sold the whole event. On the morning of the wedding, Amanda set up everything in both the ceremony and reception spaces so it was perfect! We really couldn't have done this without her, and we appreciate her so so much!
