Something Borrowed Blooms was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding flowers. They were quick and responsive and were able to help me multiple times throughout my order. The flowers were beautiful and looked exactly like what I had seen on their website - many people told me they thought my flowers were real! Kolibri Flower Lab is a creative haven nestled in the heart of San Diego, California. Our floral journey began with a vintage "Pink Flower Truck," a handful of blooms, and rolls of colorful wrapping paper. If each step we take marks a chapter of our adventure, then our floral designs serve as a vibrant reflection of the diverse and lively community we are proud to be a part of.

We held our wedding at the Junipero Serra Museum in October 2025 and began working with Claudia at Kolibri Flower Lab in January. From the very first email to the final moments of our wedding day, Claudia and her team were nothing short of exceptional. We initially learned about Kolibri through our venue, and when we reached out, Claudia responded quickly and scheduled a call to learn more about our vision. She brought so many ideas, thoughtful suggestions, and insightful questions that helped her understand not just what I thought I wanted, but also what I could want, including options I hadn’t even considered. She was also always so fast to respond (even while out of office and traveling internationally). In my initial planning, I was unsure of what I wanted for the table settings because it was the one piece of my wedding that I was having trouble visualizing but wanted to be perfect. Claudia helped with this and made this so easy by continuing to share photos and ideas. She also created the most beautiful flower recipe for the event and every flower at the event was in perfect condition. On the day of the event, everything was perfect. Her team was there early and assembled the most beautiful arch and welcome sign. We had so many guests comment on our florals and the decor her team worked on. It was truly one of my favorite parts of the day. I cannot recommend Claudia and Kolibri enough - for weddings or florals in general!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Would highly recommend Flower Moxie! Mother of the bride who can’t keep her houseplants alive decided to take a risk with DIY bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. Could not have been happier. Flowers arrived right on time. I contacted Flower Moxie right away with a question on timing for unboxing. Alexa immediately responded and became our personal flower consultant for the next 4 days. She was professional and encouraging and FUN! I felt much more confident that we could create beautiful bouquets with her assistance. The educational videos on the website are so helpful and informative. I alerted her that just three of my stems arrived broken. Flower Moxie immediately posted a refund to my account so that I could replace those stems if I felt it necessary at a local store. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. The bridesmaids and bride created their own bouquets the morning of the venue during hair and makeup. Was really fun for all of them and they were absolutely stunning! Don’t be afraid of DIY. If I could keep these alive and thriving - you can too! Flower Moxie (and Alexa) are great partners for your special day!!

Poppy Flowers
Rating: 4.4 (86 reviews)
Washington, DC
  • Starts at $1,750

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
Finding a florist was so overwhelming and "minimum investments" were crazy! I decided to go with Poppy Flowers because the pricing was actually reasonable and there wasn't a minimum investment of like 5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We had a blast working with Misha. Her florals that she executed were phenomenal and even beyond our own expectations. She is very down to earth and was the easiest and my favorite vendor to work with. Echoing what others have mentioned, her signature look is lush, full florals and I feel that her florals are exceptionally full compared to other florists we had initially looked at. If you want florals to be the centerpiece of your event, Misha is your florist! She was always accessible, dependable and great to bounce ideas off of. We provided a color palette to her and the overall vibes and trusted in her creativity and it turned out amazing. It was a very non-stressful experience leaving the florals up to her. We would highly recommend her without any hesitations. A dependable, responsive, artistic vendor but most importantly, a kind, genuine and warm individual!

Four Seasons Flowers was very prompt in their responses. I was able to make an appointment with Carma to go over my wishes and photos I liked. When it came to my mock creation, we had three different centerpiece designs, Karen (the designer) was there to help tweak the flowers to look exactly how we wanted it to! The work was stunning. Our photographer was happy that we went with Four Seasons because he knew the flowers would look good and have water for the hot summer day. I guess some florist's flowers do not survive long enough for the photos, while ours were gorgeous the whole day. Their team set up and delivered my flowers smoothly all day. Not one point did I ever question if the flowers were going to be there on time. They were also very friendly. I highly recommend using them!

Christin was responsive to our questions, flexible when we needed adjustments, and really efficient with her time. We felt so taken care of throughout the whole experience and would definitely recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who actually cares about getting it right.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Annie from Annie Occasion for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, Annie was just as excited for our special day as we were, and her enthusiasm and support for our DIY work meant so much to us. She really took the time to understand our vision and helped us make it a reality. Annie delivered the most stunning bouquets and personal flowers that perfectly matched the vibe we wanted. The attention to detail was amazing, and the flowers brought so much beauty and life to our day. In addition to the florals, she set up gorgeous floating candle cylinders that added an elegant, romantic touch to the ambiance. We were able to rent them directly from her, which made the process so easy and stress-free. Annie’s warmth, creativity, and dedication truly made our experience wonderful. If you’re looking for a florist who is not only talented but also genuinely excited to be part of your wedding journey, we wholeheartedly recommend Annie Occasion!

    About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
