Thistle And Thyme Wedding Designs
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Lebanon, OR

I first learned to do flowers 19 years ago when I assisted my grandma and mother in law in making my wedding flowers! For thousands of years cultures have used flowers and nature to provide deeper meaning and beauty with ceremonies. The uniting of diverse plants and flowers to make a beautiful arrangement can be a representation of marriage itself, and can provoke emotions and draw back memories. The smell of stargazer lilies can still take me right back to my wedding day each time I smell them. Creating beauty with nature on a day that will be captured in people’s hearts and memories for a lifetime, is a great pleasure and privilege!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lebanon, OR

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Lebanon, OR

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Do yourself a favor and go with The Fuax Bouquets!”

“We hired Robyn as our wedding florist, and the florals were absolutely stunning, truly elevating the entire day. Recommended by our venue, she knew the space so well. In the planning process, she talked through our vision and how we might achieve it with seasonal flowers (so helpful since we live in California and are not as familiar with OR spring blooms). She shared photos of her past work to help us really picture it. Robyn also used a simple online platform that helped streamline any changes we made to the order, which we continued to do until the wedding day :) Appreciate the flexibility! “Going into wedding planning my only experience with florals was my weekly purchase of a 3.99 mixed bouquet from Trader Joe’s. We only met with Miranda twice before our wedding, and yet she was the vendor who we knew got our vision, respected us, and would give it her all, and W O W, she delivered!! (Not to exclude she also has awesome referrals, and she’s the reason we found our wedding photographer, and our floral preserver!) I knew going into wedding planning that the beautiful staircases covered in roses would be out of budget, so when I inquired I gave her our budget not knowing what that would get us. At the initial consultation we went over florals I had sent her from Pinterest, and we talked through what I liked about each arrangement, what I didn’t like, and then she walked me through what certain flowers would date our wedding etc. Miranda also went through the types of arrangements we could have at our wedding that would work within with our budget, gave us an idea of how they would look on our wedding day, and then afterwards sent over a vision board, and again, W O W. My husband and I were blown away at how she brought our wedding vision to life! On our wedding day Miranda showed up in full confidence, gave us a sweet card that we later learned had the info of the farms where our flowers came from, and then she created art. We were absolutely blown away at watching her arrange our alter centerpieces, at how beautiful my bouquet was, and just how fast she made the arrangements! We really appreciated how tidy she was, her energy, and all of our guests complimented our florals too! My only regret was not taking any of our arrangements home (we have a cat who would’ve eaten them) but I am so glad that I chose to get my bouquet preserved! We love you Miranda!”

“We chose Lush Floral Design for our wedding flowers and couldn't have been happier with the decision. Sarah was quick to respond to every message and question we had during the planning process, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. She took the inspiration photos we sent and turned them into stunning arrangements that exceeded what we imagined. The colors were vibrant and the designs were fresh, really elevating the look of our ceremony and reception. We'd absolutely recommend Lush Floral Design to any couple looking for a florist who delivers exceptional work and genuinely cares about making your day special.”

Here Comes the Bloom, is a floral design company servicing the Portland metro area that specializes in weddings and events. Opened in 2016 by Alyssa Donohoe, a flower fanatic with a passion for floral design!

“Alyssa did such a great job for our wedding! We truly knew nothing about flowers and didn’t even have a clear picture in our heads when we had our first meeting with her. She showed up so organized and was super patient with us, sending proposals back and forth until it was close to what we were thinking of. The flowers were so perfect on our wedding day, better than we could have imagined. She took our vague ideas and turned it into something so beautiful. She was also super affordable compared to other florists we talked to. Can’t recommend Here Comes The Bloom enough!”
