“We got married at Stony Woods Estate during the weekend of Hurricane Helene. This storm devastated WNC in ways that are hard to put into words. Entire roadways, bridges, and towns were washed away, leaving communities isolated and in crisis. We chose Stony Woods because our families and friends were going to be traveling from out of state. Stony Woods offered the perfect setup. In addition to the main villa, the property has several beautiful/modern cabins within walking distance. As the storm wreaked havoc on the surrounding areas, 24 of us, including young children and elderly relatives—hunkered down at SW for 3.5 days, waiting for a safe route out. Despite the devastation around us, we were incredibly fortunate. Stony Woods sits high enough up the mountain that the venue remained mostly untouched, aside from a few downed trees and the loss of power/running water. The property became a sanctuary offering stunning mountain views once the storm passed. These moments of natural beauty provided comfort and healing as we navigated the chaos. When the situation turned dire, Kim and Steve stepped up in ways we never expected. They brought us vital supplies—diapers, baby wipes, food, water, and more. Their kindness and support were a lifeline while there. We had planned for a wedding with 75 guests, complete with vendors but of course, none of that happened. We didn’t have our full wedding party. Even our officiant, had no way of reaching us/vice versa. We didn’t know if she was safe, let alone if she’d be able to officiate our ceremony. Amid the uncertainty, Kim asked if we still wanted to get married and if there was anything she could do to help. With everything going on, the thought of still having our wedding seemed almost impossible. I replied, “We don’t even have an officiant.” To my surprise, Kim told me that Steve is ordained. She reassured me that if we wanted to move forward with the ceremony, Steve would happily step in. The morning of our wedding, everyone on the property—including Kim and Steve —came together to make it happen. My stepmother did the decor so we had them with us, My SIL did my hair in an RV outlet, and my MOH did my makeup with whatever we had. We used a BT speaker to play whatever songs we already downloaded on our phones. I don’t even remember what song played as I walked down the aisle, but it was perfect. For our reception meal Kim and Steve made a giant batch of spaghetti over their fire pit since we still had no power/were running low on food. Somehow, they also managed to bake a wedding cake—SO THOUGHTFUL. Despite the lack of vendors, guests, and traditional wedding elements, our people came together to create such a special day – a true testament to the power of community and love. The cherry on top? Our photographer, Ashley Sieg, miraculously made it to us with no cell service and no idea if we were still having a wedding. She captured stunning photos that we will cherish forever. Kim and Steve were more than just venue hosts; they were our lifeline during a harrowing weekend. Their generosity, resourcefulness, and genuine care made all the difference. From bringing supplies to officiating our ceremony, we couldn’t have done it without them. Stony Woods Estate is a breathtaking property. But beyond its beauty, this place holds a special magic. If you’re on the fence about booking your wedding here, do it. You won’t regret it! Don’t be surprised if Kim and Steve become a lasting part of your story.”

“From the moment we started planning, Homewood's team was responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole booking process feel smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—it worked perfectly for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and the romantic, timeless atmosphere was exactly what we'd been picturing. “If you're looking for a breathtaking wedding venue with minimal decision-making, Haiku is for you. My partner and I didn't want a wedding venue that felt too "stuffy" – we wanted to be surrounded by greenery, we wanted the wedding to feel intimate, and we wanted to work with good, kindhearted people. Haiku is all of those things! After our venue tour, I knew Haiku was where we wanted to get married. The space is such a unique and beautiful gem in Asheville, and they make the wedding planning process as easy as possible! Because the space is already so lovely, we barely had to get any additional decor to make it look beautiful. And the people who work at Haiku are amazing! Jennifer was awesome during our venue tour, and she is a visionary when it comes to bringing a wedding to life! The day before the wedding, we had a set of drapes missing from the arbor decor we brought, but the Haiku team took full creative control and the end result was beautiful! Our day-of-coordinator, Kisha, was also amazing! She was responsive, positive, and our BIGGEST hype woman. There was no problem too big or too small for her to handle. Her main priority was making sure we had an amazing, stress-free wedding day – and we did because of her & the rest of the Haiku team!”

We showed up dressed and ready, had an outstanding photographer, and were able to soak in the stunning scenery without needing any excess florals or decor. Everything you could want for a beautiful wedding backdrop exists in nature at the Arboretum.”

“TLDR - This is the best wedding venue I have ever been to, and I am so lucky it was the one we chose. If you're considering getting married here, DO IT! We were married at Henderson Acres on October 10, 2026, when heavy rain, wind, and chillier temperatures swept through the area. In the days leading up to our wedding, and especially that morning, I genuinely didn't know how we would pull off the outdoor wedding we'd spent so long planning. I was devastated, as I think any bride would be. But aside from marrying my husband, what I'll remember most is how incredible the team at Henderson Acres was. The staff went above and beyond despite circumstances outside anyone's control. The moment the rain stopped, they were outside moving chairs, wiping everything down, and doing everything they could so we could still have our ceremony outdoors. As I was getting my hair & makeup done, a very nice bottle of champagne was sent to the bridal suite, knowing how stressed I was about the weather. I'll let the photos we've received so far speak for themselves. It was absolutely beautiful! While our day didn't look exactly how I'd envisioned it, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who worked so hard to make it special. As someone who spent an embarrassing amount of time meticulously planning where everything would go for our cocktail hour and reception, I was especially nervous about moving everything indoors because it meant my plans went out the window. But when I saw the reception space, it was absolutely gorgeous. Somehow, the team made it all come together beautifully, all on their own, despite the last-minute changes. And I can't write this review without mentioning how stunning the venue itself is. The mountain views are breathtaking, but the house is every bit as beautiful. Every part of the property is gorgeous, and it truly feels like such a special place to get married. I don't think we had a single conversation with our guests where someone didn't mention how beautiful the venue was! We received so many compliments, and it made me happy knowing everyone else was just as blown away by Henderson Acres as we were. Our experience with Henderson Acres was wonderful long before our wedding day, too. When we booked, we lived in New Hampshire and couldn't visit in person. That meant Brett, the owner, received more texts, calls, and questions from me than I could count. He was consistently responsive, patient, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Planning from hundreds of miles away can be stressful, but Brett made it so much easier. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about Brian and the entire team on our wedding day. From making everything come together beautifully despite the weather to the drivers who shuttled our guests from the parking lot in the pouring rain, every person played a part in making our day unforgettable. Their hard work, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Every couple hopes their wedding day will be perfect, and sometimes that means accepting that perfect might look different from what you imagined. Our day would have been special anywhere, but because we chose Henderson Acres, it was so much more. We got married in hurricane-like weather, and because of them, I wouldn't change a thing! I will forever be grateful to Brett, Brian, and everyone at Henderson Acres for giving us the most beautiful wedding day. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough!”

“Having Laurel Falls for four days and three nights was an absolute game-changer for our wedding weekend. It gave us the chance to truly connect and celebrate with our guests, most of whom traveled from all over the country. It’s rare to get that kind of extended, quality time with your favorite people, and it made the entire experience so much more meaningful and relaxed. From start to finish, the Laurel Falls team was incredible. Their communication was always fast, friendly, and detailed, which made planning from Denver so much easier. The setup and teardown crew was fantastic. They made sure every detail of the property was perfectly arranged for our wedding day. We used Ceremony Rock, the barn, barn deck, and barn patio, and each space offered its own unique charm and breathtaking views. We also hosted a bonfire the night before our wedding, and the team even provided the firewood! It was such a fun and cozy way to kick off the weekend with our guests. Every cabin and the venue itself came fully stocked and thoughtfully prepared, which was such a relief after traveling. From the stunning mountain views to the well-maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Laurel Falls to anyone considering it as a wedding venue. The setting is magical, the team is wonderful, and I truly wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience. It was the perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and connection, a weekend we’ll never forget.”

“My husband and I just got married at Laurel Ridge last weekend and I could not possibly do their team justice in one review, but I will try my best. Holly and Ariel were absolutely wonderful to work with from our first walkthrough. They are kind, communicative, and incredibly helpful. Every part of the wedding planning process was so easy with this team. The food was absolutely incredible, bar staff and servers were incredibly kind, and Holly and Ariel worked with our vendors to ensure that our day was perfect - and it truly was. If you are looking for a venue that will take your breath away, do yourself a favor and set up a walkthrough here. The views are beautiful and each reception space is ideal. We had our ceremony at the arbor and our reception at the pavilion, but if we had to move inside for the rain, I would have still been thrilled. So many of our guests had stated that they looked at pictures of the venue before attending and were still awestruck when they stepped onto the property. We could not possibly be more grateful for Laurel Ridge Country Club and its team for giving us the most wonderful wedding day.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Corrine and the Curations team as a pastry chef, and what stands out to me is how personally Corrine is involved in the events she creates. She pays attention to the little details that can easily get overlooked, and she’s thoughtful about how all of the different elements of an event come together. From my perspective as a vendor, Corrine is also great at communication and coordination. When I’m providing desserts, I appreciate knowing that she has thought through where and when they’ll be served, how they’ll be presented, and how that fits into the overall flow of the event. It makes collaborating with her easy and allows me to focus on doing my part well. I’ve really enjoyed being part of the events she creates. Corrine genuinely cares about the couples she works with, and that comes through in the way she approaches every detail. I’m always happy when I get the opportunity to work with Curations.”
