“We cannot express enough gratitude to The Faded Poppy for the breathtaking floral arrangements they created for our wedding bouquets! From our very first consultation, The Faded Poppy was an absolute pleasure to work with. They listened intently to our vision, adjusted as we worked through the vision, offered excellent suggestions, and truly understood the aesthetic we were hoping to achieve. They even kindly helped us work through last minute freak outs, haha. The communication throughout the entire process was professional and reassuring. On the wedding day, when the bouquets arrived and filled the space, they were stunning and added that pop of color we were looking for. They were even more breathtaking than we could have imagined - fresh, vibrant, and perfectly arranged, capturing the essence of our day with such elegance. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the quality of the flowers was exceptional. The Faded Poppy played such a significant role in making our wedding day feel magical and beautiful. We received countless compliments on the flowers, and they looked absolutely incredible in al our photos. We wholeheartedly recommend The Faded Poppy to any couple looking for a truly talented and professional florist who will bring their floral dreams to life for the big day! Thank you again for everything! Sasha and Jonathan Thomas”

“SBB was the perfect choice for my wedding. I did not want to spend thousands of dollars flowers just to be thrown away. I did a preview pack just to see how real the flowers looked and choose between two styles. I used the charlotte collection for my wedding, and they all looked beautiful. When we arrived the morning of our wedding our venue coordinator couldn’t believe they were fake! Everything was delivered nicely in about 4 large boxes, and returning them the following day was super easy! Plus they look GREAT in the photos we’ve received so far from our photographer! We also rented candle votives from them, and they came tightly packed so none would break in shipping and I loved the design!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lexington, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“Poppy put together the my bouquet and the boutineeres from the groomsmen and aisle markers. The flowers were beautiful but I was a bit underwhelmed with the final product. I had wanted a much larger bouquet and compared to what I received it was beautiful but not what I was truly expecting.”

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Misha was an absolute dream to work with while planning our wedding. From our very first meeting, she was kind, caring, and incredibly intuitive - she fully understood my vision from the start, even when I struggled to articulate my thoughts. Misha is extremely organized and thorough; we met several times to discuss vision changes and updates throughout the year. She has such a gentle, grounding energy that makes the whole planning process feel calm. When you work with Misha, you feel as though you are her only and top priority. Her love for the couple is palpable- you will never feel like you are just another client. She cares in a way that is genuine and effortless and is truly the salt of the earth. Misha's work is just as incredible as she is. She is a genuine artist doing exactly what she was made to do. The florals she created for us were absolutely beautiful, beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Guests were complimenting how beautiful they were all night! She was able to locally source my favorite flower and create the dreamiest, rich in color, fall arrangements. I am so infinitely grateful to have had Misha flower my wedding!”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Lexington, VA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I was so impressed with The Faux Bouquets for our wedding! Brittany, the owner, was incredibly quick to respond, thorough in her communication, and had such a friendly and fun personality. She really went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect faux floral arrangements for our big day. The quality of their work is truly unique and you can tell they are so passionate about what they do. We were able to take advantage of a special deal on the flowers I wanted, and they even upgraded some of the pieces for free! Compared to other faux floral companies in the area, we were able to get much more for our money. I'm so glad I took the time for the 15 minute consultation with Brittany - it was so helpful to see the items at scale and she customized our order perfectly. Our wedding is not until 2027 but we got them early and I LOVE them. I also like that the suites aren’t cookie cutter so each of my bridesmaids have their own style.”

She was incredibly creative and managed to perfectly capture my somewhat vague vision perfectly, bringing it to life in the most stunning way. Communication with her was fantastic—she was always easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions or updates we had. Her arrangements were dynamic, structural, cohesive and so intentionally crafted. We shared some specific elements/colors we wanted and she was able to run with our ideas and turn them into a full floral design vision board. Jessica had candles and votives, and sourced these gorgeous ribbons for the bouquets. She thoughtfully incorporated all our requests and was happy to adjust throughout the planning process. “I can't say enough good things about Jessica and Fleurish & Bloom! Throughout the entire planning process she was organized, detailed, communicative, and super knowledgeable about how to bring my floral vision to life. She was flexible with changes I wanted to make and had great ideas for how to incorporate all of the colors and flowers I wanted to include in my bouquets AND helped me get the most out of my floral budget. On my wedding day she greeted me with my GORGEOUS bouquet and her kind, calm demeanor. The florals at my ceremony site were exactly as we discussed, if not better, and she even made sure to add a few extra flower to the signs, which made everything look very cohesive. She repurposed all the ceremony flowers to my reception space without compromising quality, and again did a fantastic job executing my vision for our table flowers and candles. I have had SO many people remark on how stunning the florals were, and I have to completely agree. I couldn't have imagined better!”

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”

Barnswallow Blooms

I have a love for all things wild and natural, scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago as a young girl, working alongside my mother picking wildflowers and lily of the valley. How I create is deeply rooted in who I am; a floral designer, grower, and potter. I feel my art background has been a really strong foundation for floral design as textures, color, and design are all intertwined with both arts.
