“We worked with Lilly and we could not have been more pleased with her help during our planning process! Firstly, this company reinvests 25% of its net profits into local charities, which made us feel very good about supporting the business. Lilly did a video call with me when we reviewed our floral options, at which time she was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. I truly appreciated how our budget was respected throughout the process. I had a few last minute changes to the floral order, and Lilly was so helpful and responsive. The final result was exactly as we hoped it would be!”

Jen House Design
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

Jen House Design is a business based out of Plymouth, MI, specializing in floral and event stylings for weddings and other special events. Owners Jen House and Kendall Goddard have co-designed and coordinated hundreds of events, bringing beautiful botanical compositions to every occasion. This duo shares a passion for beautiful florals and lush, garden-inspired designs. The expertly chosen flowers can help to set the tone for a wedding as they can reflect the personality behind the couple and give rise to a beautiful setting.

“Jen House Design was so amazing to work with. They had responded to my initial inquiry right away and I loved them from the start. From my first meeting with Kendall from Jen House Design, I knew they were the right choice. We got married at a racetrack and I had ideas for some very unconventional decorations made from car parts that I wanted to add flowers to. They were ecstatic to take on the challenge and embraced all of my strange out of the box ideas and made me feel so good. I had previously gone to several other florists who made me feel like less of a person and told me my ideas were strange and refused to work with me on my bizarre dream. Jen House Floral was completely opposite of that, and executed my dream perfectly. They were so great adding to my ideas, and working with me to keep to my budget. The day of our wedding they delivered our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flower baskets right to our hotel room then proceeded to set up our venue. I was seriously obsessed with my bouquet! I had my nose buried in it the whole time because it smelled so amazing, and I couldn't stop staring at it because it was so beautiful. The whole venue looked amazing with all of the floral arrangements and small touches they added. I was really blown away and impressed with Jen House Design for carrying out my insane vision of getting married at a Race Track but also making it look beautiful and elegant. 10/10 recommended!!! Such an incredible team!!!”

Niche Hitch
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

Lindsay started her career as a teenager working in the floral department of a local grocer. After graduating with a bachelor’s in fashion and a minor in fiber arts, she retraced her floral tradition with an enlightened approach. Niché Hitch was established in 2016 in Joshua Tree, CA from a repurposed vintage trailer that doubled as a studio space and mobile retailer (hence “Hitch”). It was here Lindsay got her start in the event industry, designing ceremony floral for destination weddings. Niché Hitch has since relocated to Detroit, MI where she has a private studio, and focuses on large scale weddings, events, and installations.

“Niche Hitch was the perfect florist for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, they were attentive and responsive, making sure they fully understood our vision. Their floral designs were truly high quality, with an artistic and sculptural style that stood out from the typical wedding flowers. The most unique part of my wedding was the florals - it was a stunning focal point that all of our guests are still talking about. Niche Hitch exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for their incredible work that truly elevated our special day. 10/10 Would recommend 3”

Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
“The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Use The Faux Bouquets! I know there are a lot of options out there for faux florals, but this company really stands out. Absolutely gorgeous selections. We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower. The company communication is quick, kind, informative, and they are just all around amazing!”

  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

is a home-based wedding and event floral studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, serving couples throughout Metro Detroit. We create bespoke, garden-inspired floral designs with a focus on sustainability and artistry. Consultations are by appointment only.

“Laura was truly a joy and a pleasure to work with. Her level of professionalism, communication, and execution is top-tier. From our first conversation, she shared with us a "mood board", outlining both our and her vision for how our wedding florals would look. This easily allowed us to see and communicate our thoughts and ideas. Laura was also honest, never trying to upsell us. We appreciated that when we began discussing more ornate floral designs, Laura reminded us that this was out of the budget we had initially told her, and offered us more cost effective solutions. We did ultimately end up going with the more ornate design and it turned out beautifully. Laura took our initial vision of a "floral cloud" suspended in our venue's pergola from a outlandish idea and worked with it until she had something realistic, considering not only how we would suspend it (she ultimately settled on a pretty complicated cabling system that was rock solid) but also how the flowers would last through the evening without access to water. This is not something your average florist could do - but Laura is not an average florist. Several of our guests commented on her displays, and we have received many photos from our guests just of her floral cloud that she made for us. It really was the star decoration of our venue. If Laura ever gets bored of florals (unlikely), she could also make a great wedding coordinator. Throughout the planning process, Laura gave us several reminders on general wedding tips and was proactive with our vendors on securing timelines, promised equipment, and other things that we ourselves missed. We highly recommend Little Workshop Floral. They will be our first stop for any future floral needs!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Stephanie was great to work with from beginning to end. The flowers were beautiful! We would definitely recommend Keepsake Designs. We received many compliments. She did a wonderful job on the arrangements using inspiration photos from my daughter including making pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen. She also provided glass vases for the bridesmaids to display their bouquets at the bridal table. I was kept up to date via text with delivery as well as clean up. We received quotes from 3 other florists and Stephanie was by far the most reasonably priced. I wish I had better pictures to share since we don't have the photographers' photos as yet, but we had a 26' garland for the chapel, flowers attached to every other row, bouquets for 7 bridesmaids and the bride, 7 pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen and the groom, 2 regular boutonnieres for the fathers, 2 corsages for the mothers and then 12 centerpieces.”

Fran listened to every detail we wanted and turned our ideas into florals that were absolutely stunning on our wedding day. Her whimsical designs felt high quality and beautiful, exactly what we'd hoped for. She was helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, making us feel confident in our choice. We can't thank Fran enough for making our flowers perfect.”

Zombie Flowers

  • Serves Lincoln Park, MI

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

“I only had bouquet and my now husband had a lapel crawler. The dried flower arrangement from Zombie Flowers was stunning. It looked incredible in photos and is still just as beautiful now. Knowing it will last forever makes it such a meaningful keepsake.”
