“Working with our florist was an absolute pleasure. When we first met, I was envisioning soft, neutral florals. As our wedding plans evolved, I completely changed direction and decided to go with bold, vibrant blues and oranges instead. She embraced the new vision without hesitation and executed it flawlessly. The final arrangements were even more beautiful than I imagined. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and floral detail perfectly matched our style and brought so much life and personality to our wedding day. She truly understood my vision and made it a reality. One of the things I appreciated most was her commitment to sustainability. She connected us with an organization that repurposes wedding flowers so they could continue bringing joy to others instead of being thrown away after the event. That meant so much to us and was such a thoughtful service to offer. If you're looking for a florist who is incredibly talented, flexible, and genuinely cares about both her couples and the impact of her work, I couldn't recommend her more highly.”

“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”

“Christina and her team were a dream to work with! We didn’t have a specific vision in mind and she helped us create the perfect, most elegant atmosphere for our venue. One of our biggest concerns was bringing in decor that would clash with our historic venue that had some bold design choices of its own. We asked for a neutral color palate and Christina delivered. The flowers were beautiful and the lush roses and greenery brought dimensionality to the arrangements that I didn’t know I wanted. All of our guests complimented the arrangements. We would highly recommend Christina and her team to our friends and family.”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Luray, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly outstanding - they were creative, tenacious, and delivered absolutely beautiful floral arrangements. They brought my daughter's vision board to life perfectly, and the flowers were on time and stunning. Flower Moxie walked us through every step, and their detailed tutorials were so helpful in making sure we got exactly what we wanted for our special day. We could not be happier with the experience and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.”

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
  • Serves Luray, VA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Working with Misha was an absolute dream! She understood my vision and then amplified it x100 to help design the most vibrant, garden party chic floral displays ever! Walking out on my wedding day and being surrounded by beautiful flowers was amazing. Misha is so easy to communicate with and really helped take flowers completely off of my plate once she understood the vibe I was going for. She even helped me decide to do all different dresses for my bridesmaids which was so fun! She worked seamlessly with the décor and signage gal (Kelsey of Creamery Hill). Many times throughout the night, I was told that my flowers were the most gorgeous my guests have ever seen at a wedding. THANK YOU MISHA!”

“Cassidy put together the florals for our wedding this weekend. We ordered arbor flowers that Cassidy recycled to our cake and sweetheart table. Unfortunately the wind during the first half of our reception was a little WILD so my current photos of that aren’t able to do it justice until my photos come in. However, I have some photos of the flowers before I sent them off for preservation as well. We also used Cassidy for rentals of pillar candles and bud vases. She assembled those and had welcome table greens for us, my bouquet, and my husband’s boutonniere. I was constantly adding things to the list like some spray flowers for my photographers for my flat lays. But she managed it. Cassidy attended our walk through to make sure that she saw the property and knew where our flowers would be doing. She provided some inspiration photos based on what I wanted and she delivered on that for sure! I think the centerpieces in particular were EXACTLY what I was looking for. She really nailed those and they turned out beautifully. When we didn’t know what we wanted or struggled to get a good vision going, she made some suggestions and went through the pros and cons with me of options. It was great to get her input on things and also trust her perspective as it relates to florals. Thank you so much for a great day!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“I can't say enough good things about Jessica and Fleurish & Bloom! Throughout the entire planning process she was organized, detailed, communicative, and super knowledgeable about how to bring my floral vision to life. She was flexible with changes I wanted to make and had great ideas for how to incorporate all of the colors and flowers I wanted to include in my bouquets AND helped me get the most out of my floral budget. On my wedding day she greeted me with my GORGEOUS bouquet and her kind, calm demeanor. The florals at my ceremony site were exactly as we discussed, if not better, and she even made sure to add a few extra flower to the signs, which made everything look very cohesive. She repurposed all the ceremony flowers to my reception space without compromising quality, and again did a fantastic job executing my vision for our table flowers and candles. I have had SO many people remark on how stunning the florals were, and I have to completely agree. I couldn't have imagined better!”

Five Stems Farm
Rating: 5.0 (11 reviews)

Flowers have such a magical way of bringing life to events! My favorite part of a wedding is seeing the dream becoming reality during setup. Your flowers should be features that accent your beauty and energy, and I love creating that for you! I started working in floristry while preparing for my own wedding. From elopements with a single bouquet to events with thousands of stems, I’ve loved every opportunity to create something new. When I’m not immersed in “flower town,” as my husband calls it, you can find us and our three kiddos (the five stems!) doing DIY projects around the house, reading outside, or playing MarioKart as a family!

“I am so late writing this review but I wanted to make sure I perfectly captured how important Christina was to making our wedding beautiful! Working with Christina was genuinely one of the highlights of our wedding planning experience. From our very first consultation, I was incredibly impressed by how thoughtful, detailed, and intentional she was. I had a very specific vision for the overall atmosphere and aesthetic of our wedding, and Christina immediately understood what I was trying to create! Out of every florist we spoke with, her proposal and contract gave me by far the most confidence. Everything was so well thought out, clearly communicated, and beautifully presented that I could actually visualize how she planned to bring everything to life. Throughout the entire process, Christina consistently went above and beyond. Not only were the florals themselves absolutely stunning, but she cared deeply about every detail and the overall experience of the day. She was incredibly professional, responsive, creative, and helpful throughout the entire planning process, which made such a difference. I think one of the biggest anxieties I had leading up to the wedding was whether all of the different pieces and creative visions across my vendor team would actually come together the way I had imagined them. Walking into our venue on the wedding day was one of the most emotional moments for me because I was absolutely stunned by what Christina created! It was more beautiful than anything I could have imagined for my own wedding! She completely transformed the space while still making everything feel elegant, timeless, romantic, and true to us. What really sets Christina apart, though, is how invested she is beyond just the florals themselves. During portraits, she was fluffing my dress and veil, checking in on me, and helping with little details throughout the day without ever being asked. You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples and wants everything to feel perfect for them. Looking back now, the florals played such a huge role in the feeling of our wedding, and I truly cannot imagine the day without Christina’s talent, creativity, and care behind it. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone without hesitation!”

Oopsy Daisy Florals is a custom floral design studio specializing in wedding and special occasion florals throughout West Virginia, Maryland, and northern Virginia. Sustainability is very important to us! We prioritize using local, in season blooms as much as possible.

“I hired Hannah for florals and planning for my wedding in April of 2024 in Leesburg, VA, and was so happy I did! I asked for bright, colorful florals and Hannah exceeded my expectations. I LOVE how my bouquet and the other floral decor turned out - they were beautiful without looking overly styled and were very unique (especially compared to the standard wedding florals I've seen!). I also leaned on Hannah and her expertise when selecting other decor (e.g., candles, place settings, etc.) as well as other vendors, which really helped pull everything together. In addition to her design skills, Hannah is very easy to work with. She is kind and really listened to what I was hoping to have at our wedding (even if it changed a few times lol). I highly recommend hiring Hannah and will be recommending her to my friends getting married in the DMV area!”

“Avery and her team were incredible to work with - her quote from the beginning was thorough, helped us budget and also included photos of the 'style' we were going for which was so helpful to confirm we were on the same page. Then she made it easy to tweak as we went along (adding flowers in different places and taking away in others). We had a very tight turn at our venue after another event and she was able to navigate that so well working with the other teams setting up the tables while the previous group was packing out. Her aesthetic is lovely, she is wonderful to work with and she helped create a lovely ceremony and reception for us. I couldn't recommend her more!”
