“We cannot express enough gratitude to The Faded Poppy for the breathtaking floral arrangements they created for our wedding bouquets! From our very first consultation, The Faded Poppy was an absolute pleasure to work with. They listened intently to our vision, adjusted as we worked through the vision, offered excellent suggestions, and truly understood the aesthetic we were hoping to achieve. They even kindly helped us work through last minute freak outs, haha. The communication throughout the entire process was professional and reassuring. On the wedding day, when the bouquets arrived and filled the space, they were stunning and added that pop of color we were looking for. They were even more breathtaking than we could have imagined - fresh, vibrant, and perfectly arranged, capturing the essence of our day with such elegance. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the quality of the flowers was exceptional. The Faded Poppy played such a significant role in making our wedding day feel magical and beautiful. “We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (110 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“My husband and I were nervous about doing our own flowers, but Flower Moxie made the whole process feel manageable. The team was easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted, never making us feel rushed or judged for our DIY approach. They broke down everything into simple steps and provided gorgeous blooms that looked like they came from a high-end florist, but at a price that actually fit our budget. On the day of the wedding, our arrangements turned out beautiful and our guests kept asking who our florist was. We were so proud that we'd created them ourselves with Flower Moxie's guidance. If you're thinking about doing your own flowers, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.”

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
  • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Misha is the absolute best! She was a vendor where I actually looked forward to calls with her because she just gets it. We hired Misha, looking for a colorful, maximalist wedding, and boy, did she deliver. She took my Pinterest boards and our guidance and gave us florals beyond our wildest dreams. Along the wa,y she was so kind and thoughtful, always asking how wedding planning was going and genuinely listening to the answer (even if it wasn't "it's going amazing").”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I was so impressed with The Faux Bouquets for our wedding! Brittany, the owner, was incredibly quick to respond, thorough in her communication, and had such a friendly and fun personality. She really went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect faux floral arrangements for our big day. The quality of their work is truly unique and you can tell they are so passionate about what they do. We were able to take advantage of a special deal on the flowers I wanted, and they even upgraded some of the pieces for free! Compared to other faux floral companies in the area, we were able to get much more for our money. I'm so glad I took the time for the 15 minute consultation with Brittany - it was so helpful to see the items at scale and she customized our order perfectly. Our wedding is not until 2027 but we got them early and I LOVE them. I also like that the suites aren’t cookie cutter so each of my bridesmaids have their own style.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Jessica and her team did the florals for our wedding, and they were AMAZING! She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. I reached out to many florists, and she was patient and intentional, taking my mumbled jumbled ideas and putting together something magical for our big day. No idea was too big or small. We had several one-on-one meetings, and she put together an inspirational slide deck. That’s when I truly started to see all the pieces coming together! She worked within my budget and let me know beforehand if there would be any additional costs based on what I wanted. It was also nice because I could handle all my floral rentals through her (things like vases and candles) without needing to contact additional vendors. On the actual wedding day, Jessica and her team were incredibly kind, keeping me at ease. I trusted her to get creative and make decisions when I didn't have an exact plan for something. Cannot recommend f&b enough!”

  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Lyndhurst, VA

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”

Katie's love for flowers blossomed in Canvas, West Virginia, Inspired by her family's heritage of foraging in the rich woodlands of Appalachia. Katie has cultivated her passion into a thriving flower farm business. Drawing from her grandmother's artistic spirit, Katie infuses her arrangements with seasonal colors and varieties that she grow using sustainable practices. At Blossoms and Buds, each bouquet tells a story of heritage, sustainability, and the beauty of Appalachia. By supporting local businesses and sharing her love for flowers with her community, Katie hopes to pass on something meaningful to future generations.

“I used Blossoms and Buds for my wedding at the new river gorge. The flowers were so beautiful and I loved knowing I was supporting a local farm! Since Katie grows everything herself she was able to give us a fantastic price. Katie was easy to communicate with and was on time. My only critique is that I wish Katie would have given me a few options to react to after seeing my inspiration, but I guess I could have asked for that. Overall, I was really happy with Blossoms and Buds and would recommend!”

Barnswallow Blooms

I have a love for all things wild and natural, scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago as a young girl, working alongside my mother picking wildflowers and lily of the valley. How I create is deeply rooted in who I am; a floral designer, grower, and potter. I feel my art background has been a really strong foundation for floral design as textures, color, and design are all intertwined with both arts.

“Eva was so professional in assisting with decorations for my event! She was able to make my visions come to life and I recommend her to everyone who is looking for flowers - be it for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, or just any special occasion :)”

“I Do!” Floral & Wood Designs is a small wedding service business out of the Orange, Virginia area and run by husband, wife, and three amazing little girls. We started out as a different business with a completely different name in 2016. From there, we revamped the entire business into the one of a kind business you see growing now. We went from wood decor and furniture for the home to wood decor, wood flower arrangements, wood flower decor, and more for the home.

“I had the pleasure of getting my flowers with Rebecca. They do amazing work, I couldn’t have been happier with my flowers. And the fact that they last forever makes it that much better.”
