“Hannah and her team were so pleasant to work with. I asked them to make our arrangements transportable so that we reuse everything at both ceremony venue and reception. Not only did Hannah accomplish this cleverly, she and her team set up and broke down efficiently and gracefully. I also gave her parameters of architectural, fall-leaning but not “too fall”, and specific species I love and she totally nailed it. Hannah’s work is elegant, contemporary, and timeless all the same. My guests, my husband, and myself are in awe of her work. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her!”

Florence Florals
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Madison, TN

Floral design caught Kaitlyn off guard in the best way. A few years ago, she took a workshop on flower arranging and it was then that something ignited within her. She started creating arrangements and giving them as gifts, taught workshops using those same skills she learned, and used floral arranging as a form of her own self-care. “I love that no two floral arrangements are the same. You can use the same elements in two arrangements, but they’re all one-of-a-kind. Working with flowers is so peaceful, and it brings such joy to create something beautiful and unique." Nashville-based wedding and event florist with a passion for beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Florence Florals was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From our first calls and quotes, Kaitlyn was approachable, kind, and quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. The quality of her work was simply beautiful - the natural styling was exactly what we were looking for to complement the elegant vibe of our wedding. The staircase piece and the urns she and her team created were my favorite standouts and really made an impact. We couldn't have been happier with the florals Florence Florals provided for our special day.”

Knestrick By Design
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves Madison, TN

Over 20 years of experience, I attribute much of my passion from amazing floral designers that pushed me to be a better designer. My mentor, Mamie Mason, loved flowers more than anyone I know. Her love and spirit were evident in everything and everyone she touched. She would free me to create and design from my own love of flowers. There wasn't a plan but more of an expression of yourself in the design. I found my passion in flowers but past the actual flower I found a passion in beauty in the ordinary. Flowers have a way in making ordinary come to life.

“It was a father and daughter duo that we met with to plan everything. They gave picture examples for everything so there was no confusion. I don’t know flowers that well, and they made everything so easy.”

“My husband and I absolutely loved working with The Pothos Parlor for our wedding! We weren’t interested in incorporating traditional florals, so Lilly’s live plants and rattan stands were the perfect complement to our ceremony and reception spaces. The planning process was thorough—she took the time to visualize and map out our spaces and made thoughtful recommendations that fit our style. On the wedding day, everything transitioned seamlessly. Every potted and propagated plant element was placed and repositioned with care between ceremony and reception spaces and Lilly could be trusted to make decisions on the fly as well. We also loved that there was zero floral or product waste. Since all the plants belong to her and are lovingly cared for afterward, we appreciated knowing our décor was both stunning and sustainable. If you’re looking for a unique, eco-friendly, and truly gorgeous alternative to traditional florals, we can’t recommend The Pothos Parlor enough!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (110 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Madison, TN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Flower Moxie exceeded my expectations! We did a custom design and Cristen really captured what I wanted for our wedding day. The ordering process was so easy thanks to Cristen and I went further and did the modules to prep for getting them. As we got closer Alexa was so quick and helpful when I was panic asking a million questions. We had some delays and were getting close to my wedding day with little time to get the flowers done. Alexa jumped into action and was amazing in finding a wholesaler near me that had the flowers we wanted picked and ready for me to get in less than 3 hours. That made such a huge difference as I was able to have my helpers and get everything done before the day of my rehearsal dinner. On top of all of this I now am so proud to say I did all the florals for my wedding and they were everything I wanted! If you’re a fellow budget bride with a vision flower moxie is for you!”

“I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”
