Serving luxe blooms + good vibes since 1984, (yep… my first wedding was for a high‑school friend and I’ve basically never stopped) I’m flower‑obsessed, camera‑happy, book‑devouring, and a travel‑loving wife to my favorite adventure buddy. Wife, mom of 2 girls, grandma to 4 tiny world‑changers, and proud rescuer of sweet pups who need a soft landing. I believe every couple has their own magic, and my passion is creating florals that feel like you — personal, intentional, and unforgettable. I still get butterflies every time I start a new design. Flowers are my art. Couples are my inspiration. Ella Rose Petals is my heart.

Becky was an absolute joy to work with! She was prompt in her communication and excited to help my pie-in-the-sky visions come to life in a cohesive, beautiful way. I love the faux flower arrangements she created for keeps and stoked the rest were rentals... no throwing anything away at the end of the night!

The Planning Co. is incredible! Their commitment to our event exceeded our expectations. I had the opportunity to work closely with their owner, Sarah Gregor to organize, style, budget, and execute an event for City Picnic Co. and she nailed it. She worked with other vendors flawlessly, created a space for our team to flourish, and never skipped a beat when things didn't go as planned (I say this not, to highlight that things went wrong, but there is always chaos behind the scenes with any event however, she made sure it didn't pour over onto our guest or team. The Planning Co. is a dream team!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Manitou Springs, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I absolutely love the flowers I received! Originally I did not receive a confirmation email, but I reached out and Alexa was able to get me the confirmation quickly. When I received the flowers, they were well packaged and came with simple but thorough instructions for preparing them. Alexa texted me and let me know they had been delivered and made sure I knew to wire the ranunculus and sent a very helpful video. My sister made my and my MOH bouquets and 10 bud vases, my mom and MIL made 4 wrist corsages, and I made 5 pocket boutonnières. We had a bunch leftover that we made into a giant bouquet for the dining room table at the house I got ready at. I did add a dozen orange tulips from a grocery store to the arrangements, but I 100% did not need to do that. I bought the wildflower elopement package of 1 bridal bouquet and 4-5 bridesmaid bouquets and it was more than enough!

Lisa was so sweet to work with! She took my vision and turned it into something so beautiful that I could have ever imagined! My bouquet was something out of this world. The colors she used and flowers truly described my personality and design I hoped to capture for my wedding day. Her communication during the entire process was also top notch and that is something I really looked for in a florist. She also helped me create special floral arrangements for my step dad and mother in laws memorial chairs for the ceremony and loved the idea I had for them. I cannot say enough good things about Carissa. As a former bride, I know how stressful it is to compile a team of vendors for your dream wedding and how much of a hassle it can become as the wedding day gets closer. Every time I met with Carissa, she listened to my concerns and calmed me down, telling me everything I wanted was doable and always reminding me she was there for me. Throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding, she was so incredible and helped ease my mind. And on the wedding day, even more incredible. She was so on top of it and ensured that everything was just how we had talked about and how I envisioned it without coming to me and asking about it. She just knew! My flowers were incredible, and I know people will be talking about how gorgeous our wedding was for years to come. I cannot thank Carissa enough for her professionalism, kindness, and care. We are so grateful we chose Privé Events as our wedding florist. Working with Sam Hoffman was truly a game changer. Neither of us knows much about flowers, and we were honestly a bit overwhelmed at the thought of having to figure out floral design. But Sam made the process feel so easy and approachable. We knew we wanted something simple, elegant, and cost-conscious, and she delivered on every front without ever making us feel like we had to compromise on beauty or vision. Sam never made us feel pressured to “reinvent the wheel,” and instead helped us create something that felt natural, timeless, and just right for us. The communication was clear and low-stress from start to finish, and the end result completely exceeded our expectations. Privé Events provided everything from bouquets and aisle markers to greenery on the venue’s wooden beams, a stunning floral chuppah, and gorgeous bud vases and table arrangements for the reception. Zombie Flowers

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

The result was beyond anything I could have imagined. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, and the table arrangements were thoughtful, cohesive, and perfectly aligned with the look and feel I had hoped for. Everything felt intentional and elevated without being overdone. Brandon didn’t just execute an idea—he brought it to life in a way that felt uniquely us. I cannot recommend Brandon highly enough if you want someone who understands vision, artistry, and how to make your wedding feel incredibly special.
