Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

It used to be a place for people to go line-dancing, was a bowling alley, and a flea market. We kept the bowling alley floors to bring some history and charm to the Ballroom! We renovated and updated other aspects to bring it back to life! We offer decoration packages- we fully set up and style whatever decorations are rented- or you are welcome to bring your own to set up. You can do whatever you can envision with the space. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
