Pinewood and Petals
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Moncks Corner, SC

My name is Jordy, and I am the owner of Pinewood and Petals! I grew up in Summerville, SC where P&P is established. I'm actually a full time marine biologist, and have always wanted to be a marine biologist since I was a kid. Sharks are my favorite animals - I have always been infatuated with them. I began making wood flowers for my own wedding, where I made all of my bouquets and flower arrangements. I wanted something unique, affordable, and gorgeous that told a story. A story that I could stand behind and which aligns with my career Mission and goals. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and a Sustainable, eco friendly option to flowers 🐬🌊🦈❤️

From our first call, her communication was quick, personable, and she was clearly excited to help bring our vision to life. The final product was pristine, elegant, and simply stunning - the bouquets, centerpieces, and flowers on our cake were all breathtaking. The flowers were the perfect complement to our special day, and we received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful everything looked. We couldn't have asked for a better florist, and would highly recommend Pinewood and Petals to any couple planning their wedding.”

Pretty Petals Of Charleston
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Serves Moncks Corner, SC

Owner, Janice Clayton, and her team of designers at Pretty Petals are artists and strive to push the boundaries and defy the trends to help you create a truly unique event. Pretty Petals couples appreciate our original designs, and are excited to see their love expressed throughout our style. My love for weddings started the morning of July 29th, 1981 when Lady Diana stepped out of her fairytale glass carriage, carrying an elaborate, cascading bridal bouquet. I had never seen anything so beautiful, and to this day, I remember every detail down to trailing ivy.

“Pretty Petals of Charleston exceeded our expectations for our wedding flowers. They were super easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, promptly answering emails and calls with a friendly demeanor. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were stunning when they arrived the morning of our wedding - the colors and varieties we requested looked even more vibrant and beautiful than I imagined. Their team worked diligently to set up everything in a timely manner and even stuck around to help move pieces to maximize the floral decor. We felt their pricing was very reasonable for the Charleston area given the exceptional quality. A highlight was when they surprised us by repurposing some arrangements to decorate our sweetheart table - that personal touch meant so much. We can't recommend Pretty Petals enough for any couple's big day - their talent, customer service and flexibility made them a joy to work with.”

“We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (106 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Moncks Corner, SC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“If you really want to save money on florals, then go with Flower Moxie! Just a heads up, IT IS A LOT OF WORK, but they give you very clear email instructions of what to expect and there are MANY resources they provide through articles, videos, etc. I was mistaken in thinking that all I would have to do is arrange flowers in vases. You are actually cutting, cleaning and processing everything. We refused to spend money on flowers through a florist, but with Flower Moxie, we were able to incorporate some florals for a very reasonable price!”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Moncks Corner, SC

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“The Faux Bouquets were absolutely fantastic for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were awesome to work with - extremely responsive and so helpful in guiding us through all the floral options. Their communication style was great, and they really listened to our vision and preferences. The end product was stunning - the bouquets, centerpieces, and other arrangements were so pretty and went beautifully with our color scheme. We were thrilled with how everything turned out, and would highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.”

🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IN YOUR REPLY. 🌹 Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Our florist was truly one of my favorite vendors from our entire wedding team. From our very first conversation, she made me feel seen, confident, and completely understood. She listened so thoughtfully to our vision and worked within our budget in a way that never made us feel limited — only excited. One detail that meant so much to me was incorporating feathers into our arrangements — ostrich, peacock, striped coque, silver pheasant, hackle, and goose feathers. She hadn’t worked with feathers before, but instead of hesitating, she was completely open to the assignment. I sourced them myself and shipped them to her ahead of the wedding, and she embraced the vision wholeheartedly. What she created was beyond anything I could have imagined. She perfectly combined the feathers with the florals I loved in a way that felt tasteful, elevated, and in perfect harmony — nothing overwhelming, nothing forced. It was artistic and intentional and somehow even more beautiful than the vision in my head. The arrangements were EXACTLY what I had imagined — and even better in real life. They complemented our venue so effortlessly and elevated the entire atmosphere of the day. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about my bridal bouquet. She personally delivered it to me while my bridal party and I were taking pictures, and it truly took my breath away. I will never forget that moment. I can’t and won’t ever get over it. If you’re looking for someone creative, collaborative, incredibly talented, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life — she is it. I cannot recommend her enough.”

HoneyStone Weddings & Events
Rating: 4.8 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Moncks Corner, SC

Founded by Jordan Taylor and MKayla Summerlin, HoneyStone (formerly J+M Event Co) is a team of experienced creatives dedicated to crafting weddings and events that are elevated, thoughtful, and flawlessly executed. From planning to design, every element is curated to align with your vision and style. Based in Charlotte, NC, we serve couples throughout North and South Carolina, as well as destination weddings worldwide.

“I connected with J&M about 4-5 months out from the wedding through my wedding coordinator. They had some pics of past work, not much that was really my style, so I was nervous about that but they assured me they could customize anything to my taste. Since they didn’t have what I was looking for they said they would order what I wanted. The problem started when to secure my date they required I sign a contract for a specific number/type of center pieces (charging a set price/centerpiece) before I had my venue booked. I ended up needing to change the numbers we had agreed on when I finally booked my venue because we had estimated for the contract since I didn’t know how many of each table size/shape the venue would have. J &M did not want to let me change the numbers on the contract (which we had both agreed at the time we came up with them were only estimates) and only did so once my wedding coordinator contacted them about it. They also were not able to give me any pictures of what my center pieces would look like at any point before the wedding which was a little scary as a bride who likes to have everything planned out well ahead of time. The centerpieces and decorations ended up looking great the day of the wedding, but the whole process was more stressful than I would have preferred. Their communication was mainly through email and often they would not reply for over 24 hours, which was frustrating if we needed to have a 2-4 email exchange about something because it could take days to resolve a simple question. Their pricing is very competitive in the market and the work they did ended up looking amazing, but overall working with them added a lot of stress to my planning process. They also did my bouquets and decorated the arch I provided and those two aspects came out looking wonderful as well. I would recommend them if you are super chill and don’t care to be involved in any details and have your venue booked by the time you contact them.”

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

When our florals arrived, the owner surprised me with free polaroids of the actual arrangement, which felt so thoughtful and personal. Their communication was responsive and kind throughout the entire planning process, and the quality of their work was stunning.
