Golden Thistle Design
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves Mooresboro, NC

Our mother-daughter team specializes in creating currated floral designs that realize the beauty of the event as you envision it. We consider it our joy to help you achieve your unique wedding - making it a reflection of you and your story. Our style is very naturalistic and derives its inspiration from the beauty of the mountains and the soft, graceful lines found in nature. We believe that flowers should speak to your heart, kindle a sentiment, and awaken a beloved memory.

Erin was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding florals! I gave her a color palette and a few ideas, then trusted her to take control, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was quick to answer any emails and set up a phone call to discuss my wedding vision before creating the proposal. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were so beautiful that I honestly thought they were the bridal bouquet at first, and then I saw mine and it was even more breathtaking. Burgundy was my main color but I asked her to make it feel spring-like and she absolutely did. Every arrangement felt perfectly suited to the day. The reception decor was stunning and elevated the entire space with such beautiful elegance while still keeping the rustic charm of the venue. Erin’s work was worth every penny, and I am so grateful for the way she brought our vision to life. Carolina roses
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves Mooresboro, NC

Carolina Roses is a premier, full-service wedding florist dedicated to bringing your romantic vision to life through breathtaking floral design. Specializing in bespoke wedding florals, we curate everything from exquisite bridal bouquets and elegant boutonnieres to jaw-dropping ceremony arches and lush reception centerpieces. We believe that wedding flowers do more than just decorate a room—they set the entire atmosphere and infuse your celebration with life, color, and fragrance.

Carolina Roses was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Patty's communication style was extremely responsive, consistent, and positive throughout the entire planning process. Not only did she help me with all my florals(ceremony, reception, bridesmaids) but she offers wedding planning as well and I'm so happy I decided to stick with her for it all. She saved us so much when finding other vendors. The quality of her work is simply perfect - the floral designs were whimsical and classy. Multiple guests commented to me on how beautiful the florals were. She listened and was open to every idea I had--at one of our planning meetings, Patty did a mock-up of my bouquet/my husband's boutonniere and she was able to perfectly capture the vision I had described. This was such a special process to see and I was thrilled to be able to take the mock-ups home with me that day. On the day of the wedding, Patty and her team ensured that I didn't have to stress over anything, taking care of any problems that arose. I've included pictures of the table settings which she designed and some of the florals. She was able to repurpose the ceremony florals into the reception to help us save a little there. I was so grateful for Carolina Roses' exceptional service and stunning floral work that truly made our special day even more magical.

Nicole is an amazing artist! Her flower arrangements were stunning and far exceeded my expectations. Florals was something I didn't feel particularly strong about during wedding planning. However, once I started working with Nicole that changed. Her vision boards helped bring everything to life and I began to get more and more excited. By the time the wedding rolled around I was amazed at how excited I was about the florals and they turned out even better than I was picturing. Her arrangements are gorgeous and very high quality. Her team also did a fantastic job setting up and breaking down and were incredibly professional and efficient. I highly recommend booking Bask Floral Studio and doing her full service package. From start to finish it was fabulous and worth every penny!

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
We rented flowers through Something Borrowed Blooms and went with the Jane collection. Flowers were lower on our tier of priorities, so this worked well for us. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Mooresboro, NC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were nervous about doing our own flowers, but Flower Moxie made the whole process simple. The owner texted me right after delivery to check in and answer any questions, which gave us peace of mind. The flowers arrived on Thursday looking vibrant and healthy, and they stayed that way through our Sunday wedding. The step-by-step instructions and bouquet recipes took away the guesswork, making it totally doable even for first-timers like us. Best of all, we had gorgeous real flowers without spending a fortune. Highly recommend if you want to save money without sacrificing quality.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m so glad we went with the Faux Bouquets for our wedding florals. Everything was beautiful and nobody believed me when I said they weren’t live flowers. If you are worried about how they will look, DONT be!!! There is a great variety of flowers on their website and I am so happy with how everything turned out. If you are renting flowers, the return process is SO easy!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Florist Fire is the best! My wedding florals were better than I could have ever imagined. Gayle took a vision and made it a reality. The curation of florals were unlike any I had ever seen. I had never seen a ceremony arch so perfect. Gayle took into consideration how tall my husband was and made sure to have the florals larger than him so our ceremony arch was a wow factor over 8 feet tall! The attention to detail was important to us and Gayle exceeded all expectations. My family, friends and bridal party couldn't stop complimenting how pretty they were. Hi, there! I’m Chelsea - I’m so glad you are here! After spending time at a local floral shop in college, I knew I wanted to be a part of this work of creating art with flowers - where they can be tailored to the people they were designed for and where they can create feelings of romance and intention. Since the initial leap of faith in 2018, over 600 couples have been served and loved on by our team. It is one of my greatest joys getting to play this role. It certainly could not be done as a one-man show, though. To create art in this way takes a village, and I’m certainly thankful for mine that you will see all throughout Ever Be events.

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!

J+M Event Co
Rating: 4.8 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Mooresboro, NC

Founded by Jordan Taylor and MKayla Summerlin,J+M Event Co. is a team of experienced creatives dedicated to crafting weddings and events that are elevated, thoughtful, and flawlessly executed. From planning to design, every element is curated to align with your vision and style. Based in Charlotte, NC, we serve couples throughout North and South Carolina, as well as destination weddings worldwide.

I connected with J&M about 4-5 months out from the wedding through my wedding coordinator. They had some pics of past work, not much that was really my style, so I was nervous about that but they assured me they could customize anything to my taste. Since they didn’t have what I was looking for they said they would order what I wanted. The problem started when to secure my date they required I sign a contract for a specific number/type of center pieces (charging a set price/centerpiece) before I had my venue booked. I ended up needing to change the numbers we had agreed on when I finally booked my venue because we had estimated for the contract since I didn’t know how many of each table size/shape the venue would have. J &M did not want to let me change the numbers on the contract (which we had both agreed at the time we came up with them were only estimates) and only did so once my wedding coordinator contacted them about it. They also were not able to give me any pictures of what my center pieces would look like at any point before the wedding which was a little scary as a bride who likes to have everything planned out well ahead of time. The centerpieces and decorations ended up looking great the day of the wedding, but the whole process was more stressful than I would have preferred. Their communication was mainly through email and often they would not reply for over 24 hours, which was frustrating if we needed to have a 2-4 email exchange about something because it could take days to resolve a simple question. Their pricing is very competitive in the market and the work they did ended up looking amazing, but overall working with them added a lot of stress to my planning process. They also did my bouquets and decorated the arch I provided and those two aspects came out looking wonderful as well. I would recommend them if you are super chill and don’t care to be involved in any details and have your venue booked by the time you contact them.

One of the guests commented that the chuppah, which was adorned with flowers, “was the most beautiful chuppah I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of them!” We have to agree that the flowers made the chuppah exceptionally beautiful! Whimsical Blooms

  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Mooresboro, NC

I’m a flower farmer and wedding florist based in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where I grow many of the blooms I use in my designs. My love for flowers comes from the joy they bring and the stories they tell on life’s most meaningful days. At Whimsical Blooms, I focus on creating floral designs that feel romantic, organic, and full of movement, always inspired by the beauty of the seasons. Whether I am growing dahlias under the summer sun or arranging delicate ranunculus in the spring, my goal is to craft pieces that feel alive, intentional, and deeply personal to each couple I work with.

I am writing this review regarding the flowers we took care of for our son's wedding. We found Whimsical bloom online and looked at her photos and felt compelled to use her. She truly listened to the vision my DIL had and brought it to life in a way that exceeded all expectations. Every floral arrangement was breathtaking, from the bouquets to the ceremony and reception flowers, and each detail reflected her creativity, talent, and passion for her work. The flowers were fresh, beautifully designed, and perfectly complemented the atmosphere of our son and DIL wedding day. It was fun and heartfelt to hear all the different guests making very familiar comments and compliments on the flowers. It truly brightened the whole experience! Beyond her artistic talent, Tabitha was professional, responsive, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. If you're looking for a florist who can create something truly magical and memorable, I cannot recommend Tabitha and Whimsical Blooms highly enough. She helped make our son and DIL's wedding day even more beautiful than we imagined, and we are so grateful for her exceptional talent and hard work! Thank you again, Tabitha, for sharing your gift with us and for creating florals that we will all remember and cherish for years to come!!

I was completely lost when it came to choosing colors and styles, but Vanessa helped me pick shades that perfectly matched my wedding color scheme and flowers that suited my taste beautifully. She was so communicative, kind, and accommodating—especially when I needed my flowers made and shipped on a tight timeline. Everything arrived on time and looked stunning! I would highly recommend Pine and Petal to anyone looking for elegant, timeless, and long-lasting floral arrangements. We plan to have our bouquet proudly on display as a beautiful reminder of our wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Whether you are a free-spirited jetsetter looking to be transported to an Italian Villa or French Cafe, a modern bookworm craving a sleek aesthetic with a touch of timeless romance, a nostalgic dreamer with fantasies of wildflower fields & cobblestone, or anything in between – We will tell your story.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Tori & her incredibly talented team created the most magical atmosphere for our wedding day! She was always quick to respond to questions & was so incredibly kind with any request we had. Her & her team even braved the NC mountain winds and rain to set up our beautiful ceremony site. But truly, her gorgeous work speaks for itself!

I am a nature-loving mother of 2 humans and 2 dogs and have lived in the Carolinas my whole life. I’ve been a floral designer for over 25 years and have traveled all over the world to do flowers. I love getting to know my clients and creating something beautiful and unique for their special day and following their life’s journey.

Melissa did the flowers for my wedding and I couldn't be happier. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous — exactly what I'd envisioned and even more beautiful in person. She listened to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony florals all came together perfectly. Melissa is incredibly talented and such a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a florist who truly cares and delivers stunning work, I can't recommend her enough!
