Flowers from Kara
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Albuquerque, NM
  • Serves New Mexico

Flowers from Kara is an eco-friendly wedding florist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico who provides sustainable floristry for all large events. From intimate elopements to large luxury celebrations, our award-winning services come from the heart. Locally sourced flowers and environmentally conscious designs are our passion!

Kara truly went above and beyond for our wedding! From the moment the first email was sent, she was truly present and listened to our vision from the start. Not only is Kara a gem of a human being, but a wonderfully creative florist and a true professional. She was so warm and welcoming to us at the first creative meeting we had with her and she quickly put together a perfect vision board of exactly what we were wanting. We originally were going to go with fake flowers to save some money, but once I came across her portfolio I knew I had to have her florals be a part of our day and we do not regret the decision at all, in fact, the florals were one of our favorite parts of the day! Every guest mentioned how gorgeous the florals were. Our venue was already very beautiful on its own, but Kara's flowers took it to another level. She was so easy and pleasant to work with the entire journey and she always brought a smile and a wonderful upbeat attitude. We fully trusted Kara and she took so many worries off our plate handling set up. If you want to work with Kara, I highly recommend giving her full creative freedom, she truly wowed us with her color palette and creativity with our venue setup. We loved working with Kara and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist who uses local flowers supporting local farmers and uses sustainable materials!

Elite Weddings & Events by, Albuquerque Florist
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Albuquerque, NM
  • Starts at $85 per arrangement
  • Serves New Mexico

Hello, we are Elite Wedding and Events by Albuquerque Florist. We are a custom full-service florist located in Albuquerque and serving all of New Mexico. No wedding or event is complete without Elite. The name Albuquerque Florist came into existence in 1999 but the history of the company goes back a good many years. It began as a family-owned neighborhood business in 1950 serving its local community southwest of downtown Albuquerque.

This was the BEST vendor that we hired for our wedding. I wanted a high-end feel on a serious budget..... and Alex Montoya at ABQ Florist absolutely DELIVERED! Neither myself nor my close loved ones could believe the value for the absolutely stunning arrangements they provided for our wedding. This sounds really dramatic, but I was heartbroken that we couldn't just preserve the flowers permanently in time. The next day I took tons of pictures of them and just could not stop staring at them!!! Alex took my vision and he understood it perfectly...I almost feel like he took my vision and brought it to the next level because it was even better than what I imagined they would be. EVERYONE... I mean EVERYONE was commenting on the flowers, specifically - including my BROTHER who is still talking about how gorgeous they were!!! People have been talking about the flowers nonstop because they were easily the most beautiful display of flowers I've ever seen in my LIFE. I would love to keep coming back to ask for this arrangement over the years to remember our wedding. I'm still fawning over the incredible work of ABQ florist and I could not believe the value for what they produced. Just INCREDIBLE. This will be the BEST money you ever spent!!!!

Your unforgettable day deserves an incredible keepsake! Sola wood flowers are preserved and renewable wood. An Eco-friendly alternative to real floral. Forever Floral Designs is one of my favorite local businesses to shop from. The bouquets are stunning! I love the idea of having a flower bouquet that will not wilt! The Solo wood flowers are beautifully made and so detailed. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for unique gifts or a way to add some floral beauty into your home, The owner is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, it is always a joy to talk to her and see her passion for her art.

All The Pretty Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Santa Fe, NM
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves New Mexico

Hi, my name is Amanda Schutz and I'm the owner and designer of All The Pretty Flowers. A Santa Fe native, I love calling New Mexico home. With a background in architecture, art history, and interior decoration, my fascination and passion for art and design fell into the hands of some of nature's most delicate and interesting creations, flowers. My love for flowers goes back as far as I can remember and I absolutely love what I do! I’ve been working with flowers for over 10 years and there’s always something new to learn about. I’m continuously discovering new blooms, native flora, and things like vases and vessels to work with.

Katrin is such a kind and welcoming person, as well as an amazing florist! I gave her some colors that I wanted for the wedding, but I knew nothing about which flowers would be good or in season. She had photos for me of flower inspiration, but on the day it was like the pictures were in real life! The flowers were just stunning and made the day! The centerpieces and outdoor pieces were snatched up by guests afterwards!

I was initially very skeptical of online flower rental companies, but we are SO THRILLED and grateful for using SBB. Something Borrowed Blooms proved to be responsive and solution-focused, addressing every question we had with speed and clarity. As a summer wedding on Cape Cod we met with some traditional florists and initially received a quote of 7k for real florals! SBB worked with us to create the same stunning look using their silk blooms for just 2k, saving us thousands of dollars without sacrificing beauty and quality! The quality blew us away; our guests were genuinely shocked to learn the flowers weren't real when we told them! The Charlotte Collection was the perfect fit for our vision, and the blooms arrived early in incredible condition. We also used the Mostest package add on for day of coordination and handling the boxes and set up of the flowers. We honestly didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish, and their easy return process gave us complete peace of mind. Something Borrowed Blooms is a game-changer if you want gorgeous florals that won't drain your budget!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Exceptional service. Flowers don't always travel well. The flowers I ordered for my daughter's wedding bouquet and the grooms boutonniere. They arrived in less than ideal condition I contacted customer service and Alexa was incredibly helpful. She not only sent new flowers overnight but was truly concerned that they now arrived in great condition. The new flowers were gorgeous and perfect. I will be buying all my flowers from Flower Moxie. Thank you Alexa.

Their floral designs were elegant, affordable, and fully customizable to our preferences. The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Zombie Flowers

Flowery Branch, GA

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.
