The Secret Spot Flowers is a flower shop, studio, and small-scale farm based in New Orleans. Our work is guided by a deep love for nature, storytelling, and sustainability. We specialize in artful and seasonal floral design.

“Working with The Secret Spot Flowers was an absolute joy. From the very beginning, Tay and her team were incredibly easy to communicate with, flexible and accommodating to all of my requests. They took the time to understand my vision and budget, and delivered a final product that was truly fantastic, creative and perfect. Tay worked closely with me to find the right flowers that fit my style, and when I decided last minute that I wanted a floral arch, they were able to pull it off beyond my expectations. The end result was so beautiful that I burst into tears and it made our wedding photos truly memorable. I highly recommend The Secret Spot, especially if you are looking for a florist that is very customized to your personality. They are not a generic florist, but work with you in every way, including budget considerations. I am an absolute fan!!”

“Samantha is absolutely fantastic! Wonderful to work with, truly beautiful florals that are unique, and the most kind soul! She was one of the first people I saw on the big day right as the stress and chaos really began and she greeted me with the warmest hug and well wishes! Highly recommend! I loved the florals she created for us so much, that I splurged on something I did not anticipate I would ever want and overnighted my bouquet, my husband’s boutonnière, and the flat lay she left for the photographers to be preserved! Absolutely amazing - thank you, Samantha!”

Pick-a-Petal Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
New Orleans, LA

I take a grassroots approach to my arrangements by bringing in all levels of greens and blooms. My style emphasizes grace, movement and the delicate blending of colors that evoke images of the natural garden and uphold a sense of wild spontaneity. I love to express my talent in blending elements to produce an original, fresh look. My goal is to provide an unforgettable, fun & boutique experience for my clients.

“communication with emily prior to was great. we did multiple zoom meetings to talk details beforehand. she brought in the bouquets early in the morning so that was my first look at things. i didn't love my bouquet (also didn't dislike or even hate it, was just underwhelmed.) this made me nervous for the venue flowers because that is where all of my hopes and dreams for this wedding lied. the bridesmaid and mother/MIL ones were really pretty though. so i held onto that...it was worth it!! emily had to shift gears the night before due to weather and go from a pre-built gazebo on the patio to making her own structure in our secondary space. i had a vision in my head and i did my best to express it. let me tell you, she understood the assignment!! i cannot express how stunningly perfect our venue flowers turned out. i was already emotional due to the moment but the alter arrangement would've made me cry either way! she took my vision of the ceremony space and made it a reality. the first time I got to see it was when i walked down the aisle. it was absolutely breathtaking. the arch was everything i had imaged and the aisle flowers were so beautiful. i stayed and took extra photos with it afterward because i loved it so much. my only negative was we had talked about doing a cake topper that was reminiscent of my parents' topper (i had send a picture) and we didn't get that. i don't know exactly what happened but i totally understand something that small getting overlooked when we had a floral order the size that we did, it was just a little bit disappointing. it's such a small thing and everything else was so perfect that i couldn't take a whole star away over it. i would absolutely use her again!!”

“SBB was the perfect choice for my wedding. I did not want to spend thousands of dollars flowers just to be thrown away. I did a preview pack just to see how real the flowers looked and choose between two styles. I used the charlotte collection for my wedding, and they all looked beautiful. When we arrived the morning of our wedding our venue coordinator couldn’t believe they were fake! Everything was delivered nicely in about 4 large boxes, and returning them the following day was super easy! Plus they look GREAT in the photos we’ve received so far from our photographer! We also rented candle votives from them, and they came tightly packed so none would break in shipping and I loved the design!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
    Rating: 4.9 (106 reviews)
    • Starts at $350
    • Serves New Orleans, LA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
“Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers provided amazing and quick communication throughout the process. The flowers arrived beautifully and they provided plenty of instructions to help keep them looking their best. While I ended up ordering way too much due to not making as many arrangements as I had anticipated, the blue flowers they provided were absolutely stunning and really contributed to the beautiful floral design and color palette on our wedding day. I would highly recommend Flower Moxie to any couple looking for a reliable and high-quality DIY wedding florals option.”

“I had a good experience with Poppy Flowers and would give them 4.5 stars. Our assigned florist was fantastic on the day of, kind, punctual, and truly went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. The arrangements were exactly what I hoped for, and I was thrilled with the final result. The company’s website was also incredibly easy to navigate, making the planning process smooth and stress‑free. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is due to the communication after booking with Poppy; most updates were automated, and were told after booking that they don't give out the name of the florist, which made it impossible for my coordinator or me to reach out or get any direct updates to coordinate the day of. Despite that, the quality of the florals and the professionalism of the florist on the day were exceptional.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”

Beth's Flowers is committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Family-owned and operated, Beth’s Flowers proudly serves the Metairie, New Orleans, Kenner, and Harahan area as well as many other southern Louisiana cities

“Beth's Flowers in New Orleans was slightly disappointing for our wedding. Their communication style was unprofessional at times, primarily via email and a couple of texts, and they hounded me monthly for payments (after i told them twice that i preferred to pay in full the 60 days before ceremony as listed in their contract). The quality of their work was just fair - the flowers they provided were limited in variety and did not match the colors as well as their inspiration photos had suggested. Burgundy stock was supposed to be in the bouquets and it was not. Boutonnieres were pretty sad looking, esp for the groom. They would not let me use my own fabric/ribbion for wrapping the bouquet; didn't say why, just told me no. They only provided the basic flower needs for the event and did not go above and beyond to make our special day more beautiful. I would only recommend using them if you are on a strict budget, and if flowers are not of big concern for you.”

I gave them an idea of what we wanted and they created something more beautiful than I could have ever expected! They are quick to respond, very reasonable on price and are beyond creative!
