“Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.”

“The moment my husband and I set foot at The Hummingbird Chateau, we knew it was the venue for us. After our initial tour, my husband (then fiancé) said, "is it weird to want to pick the first venue we look? Because this feels right." We had immediately fallen in love with its beauty, unique charm and the down to earth staff. Angela is a true fairy godmother! She brought our vision to life and made everything run so smoothly. The months before our wedding she was so helpful and responsive; no task was too difficult, no dream was impossible, she made it all happen! You can tell that Angela and her team truly love what they do. They put their heart and soul into making such a beautiful venue, and do whatever they can to help create the most perfect, stress free wedding day for their clients. “Our wedding day at Highland Taps & Tables was nothing short of perfection, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The venue itself was so charming, we opted to keep it simple with decor. There are so many places for amazing pictures, both indoors and outside on their golf course. Our wedding day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kirsten and the entire staff. Kirsten, in particular, stood out with her support at every stage of the planning process and on the day itself. She made sure everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. One standout feature that set Highland apart was the spacious and private getting-ready area for the bridal party. This was a big plus for us as some other venues we looked at charged extra for spaces like that. The delicious food was served promptly, and every order was accurate. Our guests were impressed with the quality and taste. Highland Taps & Tables is truly a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have discovered it for our special day. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, attentive service, and great food, Highland is the ideal choice. I wish I had more unmarried friends to share it with. Our wedding day at Highland Taps & Tables will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”

“Found this venue through zola and ended up being the perfect place for our wedding! Not only is the venue, beautiful and historic the food and the ambience was great! We were planning this wedding from afar, and Justine was a perfect host and responded quickly to any request we had. She basically planned our whole wedding for us down to the cake and flowers and we couldn’t be happier. We were not working with a huge budget and they were able to accommodate our every need. We had an adorable ceremony inside the venue with dinner and reception afterwards. A full buffet with all the fixings and incredible appetizers. Everyone was not raving about the friendly staff but the spirits that were made in house. If you are looking for an affordable rustic wedding venue with homemade spirits this is the place!”

“We truly could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with Alaina Rineman and the team at Hotel Gettysburg. Together, they made our wedding weekend seamless, stress-free, and truly unforgettable. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Alaina made the entire process feel manageable and even enjoyable. From the very beginning, Alaina was phenomenal. She responded to my initial inquiry within minutes and remained just as attentive throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to answer questions, walk through details, and offer thoughtful suggestions. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple, which made her suggestions feel personal and meaningful. On the wedding day, Alaina handled everything behind the scenes flawlessly. Any hiccups were taken care of immediately, and we never felt stressed or distracted. She also went above and beyond for our guests, especially ensuring accommodations for those staying at the hotel and even arranging a to-go meal for a guest observing a religious fast. That level of care meant so much to us. Hotel Gettysburg itself was the perfect venue. Located right in the heart of downtown, it offered a beautiful mix of historic charm and convenience. Our guests loved being able to walk around the square, and the hotel provided so many great gathering spaces—including One Lincoln, the Hotel’s own bar and restaurant. The on-site Starbucks was also a huge bonus! The on-site catering was also exquisite. We chose to do a buffet and the food choices were all delicious! Many of our guests returned for second and third helpings of the entrees. The highlight for me is how incredibly picture-worthy the Hotel is, with stunning spots both inside and outside (the bank vault in the ballroom was a favorite!) for amazing wedding photos. Even with nearly 200 guests, the space allowed for comfortable mingling and dancing. The bridal suite and thoughtful touches like packaged cake slices, chocolate-covered fruit, and souvenir champagne glasses made us feel so special. Pro Tip: I also highly recommend working with Visit Gettysburg. They provided free welcome packets for our guests filled with brochures, discounts, and even kid-friendly items, which enhanced the experience for our guests that stayed the full weekend. Because of Alaina, I felt completely at ease and confident that everything was in good hands. When I look back on our wedding day, she is absolutely part of those memories—not just as a coordinator, but as someone who helped make the day feel so special. If you’re considering a Gettysburg wedding, Alaina and her team will take amazing care of you from start to finish. (Photos captured by Megan Gingrich with MG Photography)”
