About this venue

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

Our extra-large event tent is an extremely versatile space, and is perfectly suited for any event! The permanent deck flooring is great for dancing, and the clear sidewalls and gables let in amazing natural light and views of our landscaped grounds. It is also fully heated, so you stay comfortable, no matter the temperature! This space perfect for ceremonies and receptions, and can be decorated to match any style of decor!

Beautiful Location, Attentive Staff
From our first conversation with the team at The Stone Mill 1792, we knew we had found the right venue for our wedding day. They communicated with us in such a straightforward and genuine way that planning felt easy and stress-free, even when we were juggling details. What really impressed us was how they stayed on top of the weather forecast and had solid backup plans ready in case it rained, which gave us total peace of mind. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—it feels like stepping into a fairytale with its historic charm and beautiful grounds. Every moment of our wedding looked like it came straight out of a storybook, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting to say our vows. The Stone Mill 1792 is an absolutely lovely venue. From the staff to the grounds, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married at. From our very meeting to our wedding day, TSM1792 team was so communicative, friendly, and supportive. Michael, Matthew, and Allyson were such lovely people to work with. The day of staff was amazing too, always communicating the plans and details and asking me what I wanted/needed. Their landscaping crew is also top notch - the flowers and trees and grass were all in such amazing condition. Our guests are still talking about what a lovely venue it was. Thank you TSM1792 for making our wedding day the best and being part of our journey.

Gorgeous Wedding Venue!
The Stone Mill 1792 is absolutely beautiful! The mill house has a rustic old world charm and the reception area is tucked among the trees, making it feel like its own little world! Being a vendor here was a very pleasant experience! The staff were all kind, helpful, and so easy to work with. The day of coordinators kept everything flowing wonderfully! I look forward to working at The Stone Mill 1792 as often as possible in the future! I highly recommend them if you are looking for the perfect place to hold your reception!

Experience with The Stone Mill 1792
We had our wedding at The Stone Mill 1792 and it was perfect. From start to finish, the team stayed in touch with us and sent all the information we needed ahead of time, which made planning so much easier. On our wedding day, they had everything set up beautifully and kept things running smooth from beginning to end. The space itself is gorgeous and the pricing is very reasonable, so you get a lot of value for your money. The staff is genuinely nice and cares about making your day special. We highly recommend The Stone Mill 1792 to anyone looking for a budget-friendly venue that doesn't cut corners on quality or service.
