At most venues, "all-inclusive" means a list of preferred vendors you still have to manage. At Ramble Creek, it means one contract, one team. The only vendor you bring is your photographer. Because there are no predetermined packages, you never pay for services you don't want. Every wedding is built à la carte around your vision, guest count, and budget. Set in the East Tennessee Valley between Knoxville and Chattanooga, the property features our 8,000 sq ft Grand Hall with exposed wood beams and a fireplace altar, a one-of-a-kind vine arbor couples describe as straight out of an enchanted forest, a white arbor on the upper lawn, a covered bridge, a vineyard, and manicured lawns with a pond and stone bridge. The Historic - A Southside Venue
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Chattanooga, TN
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor

Our historic venue was originally a church built in 1904 and renovated in 2011. We are known for having beautiful exposed brick, large arched windows providing lots of natural lighting, and unique spaces all over the property for special, picture-perfect moments.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Combines timeless elegance with history
  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Classic seating dinner

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • No all-inclusive dining options
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
From our first conversation with The Historic - A Southside Venue, we knew we were in good hands. Their team communicated with us in a clear and direct way throughout the planning process, answering every question we had without any confusion. The space itself is gorgeous with exposed brick, hardwood floors, and natural light pouring in from every angle, which made our photos look incredible. We did run into one issue on our wedding day that was completely out of their control, but the staff went above and beyond trying to fix it. When they couldn't resolve it, they made things right with a partial refund and added free items to our reception. The flexibility and care they showed us made all the difference, and we'd absolutely recommend The Historic to any couple looking for a beautiful, spacious venue with a team that truly has your back.

The Whitestone Inn was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was timely and responsive, which was greatly appreciated as we coordinated all the details. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with multiple ceremony and reception locations to choose from. The Whitestone team assisted us with any questions we had, allowed us to visit the site twice, and accommodated multiple changes along the way. The only potential drawback is that if you use an external caterer, the limited kitchen access can be challenging. However, if you opt for their in-house catering service, this would not be an issue. Overall, we highly recommend the Whitestone Inn for its stunning settings, excellent service, and ability to make your wedding day special.
