WOW. Our wedding day was a dream and so much more because of the phenomenal Milton Ridge team. Absolutely every person at MR from the coordination team, photography team, catering, DJ, and beyond is so incredibly professional, caring, detail-oriented, and focused on making your day and you and your partner feel so truly special. We have a million compliments to give to this amazing staff. It felt like they were all celebrating with us! Meaghan and Moriana not only helped plan and coordinate our day beautifully, they were so excited for us all day and made sure we weren’t worried about anything, making sure to have everything ready for us, even strategically got our one guests safely an ambulance to the ER before the ceremony (and back before first dance!) and made sure every single moment of our day ran smoothly. Feldy and Mira made the best photographers we could have hoped for. They were adamant about getting us the shots we wanted and Mira was just priceless with her joy for the photos they were taking!! She and Feldy have us so excited to see our photos!!! Our DJ, Tyler was just wonderful, made our night with some great music and had our guests dancing all night long! One moment I will never forget is running to the office to get something an few hours before guests arrived and feeling caught up in my nerves, but then hearing the catering staff laughing with each other while preparing our food. It totally snapped me out of my nerves and brought me back to the moment, reminding me to enjoy it all. The food was insanely delicious by the way, so many compliments from guests too! Highly recommend the fajita buffet!! Hubby and I are still chowing down on the leftovers 2 days after our wedding! I also want to mention how happy it made us to see Moriana, Mira, and the girls and guys serving drinks dancing to the music, enjoying the night, while providing us with everything we could want and more!!! The ultimate professional wedding team is right here at Milton Ridge!! Can’t thank you all enough. We are so grateful we chose this venue, will be recommending it to all of our engaged friends, and will never stop talking about the day of our dreams that you all helped make possible.

Wildflower Estate
Rating: 4.5 (2 reviews)
Mardela Springs, MD
  • Up to 100 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,000

Wildflower Estate is where luxury meets love. Offering both venue-only and all-inclusive packages, our Maryland Eastern Shore estate pairs chic design with lush landscapes. Whether you want a fully planned wedding or the freedom to craft your own, we provide the perfect backdrop for a celebration that’s effortlessly stylish and uniquely yours.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Versatile for various event styles
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Full catering menu to choose from

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • No on-site guest accommodations
We chose Wildflower Estates as our wedding venue and opted for the Bridal Boutique all-inclusive package since we planned our wedding in less than four months. For a short timeline, the all-inclusive option definitely helped simplify planning and reduce stress. The venue itself is a beautiful modern barn style with several ceremony site options and lovely scenery that makes for a great backdrop. They do offer a backup plan for rain or high winds, which is appreciated, but it’s not ideal for larger weddings (over 40 guests), they move it inside and can only provide seating for about 35 guests so that’s something couples may want to think through. There were several highlights to our experience. Our planner/coordinator (Eventfully Yours) was wonderful. Angie & Kristen were organized, kind, and supportive. The photographer turned out to be amazing and captured our day beautifully. We didn’t know who our florist would be until the day of so I wasn’t able to find or look at a portfolio beforehand, which was nerve-wracking, but thankfully they exceeded expectations. The bartender, Cory also stood out; as the bride and groom, we never had an empty drink. He paid attention to us all night and made sure we were taken care of first, which we really appreciated. There are also some things future couples should know. There is no food tasting beforehand. The cocktail hour food was great, but the main course was disappointing. There is also only one cake/dessert vendor option, which limits personalization. Vendor flexibility is something we wish had been stronger. In hindsight, we might have preferred choosing vendors individually or having multiple vendor options to choose from within the package. Our DJ unfortunately did not meet expectations. The bridal suite is very nice, but for the price point it would be helpful to have a space for the men to get ready onsite as well. A steamer available for day-of use would also be a thoughtful addition. One of the biggest stress points was invoicing for the bar/alcohol. Due to a billing oversight on their end, they were trying to collect payment the morning of our wedding while I was getting ready. That felt inconsiderate and added unnecessary stress to an already busy day. While the package is all-inclusive, there are still behind-the-scenes logistics, and I didn’t feel it should have been my responsibility to stay on top of their billing timeline. Overall, Wildflower Estates provides a beautiful setting and a convenient planning option, especially for couples on a shorter timeline. With better vendor options, clearer billing processes, and a few added amenities, the experience could be even stronger for future couples.
