John and I fell in love with Athens while attending UGA, and eventually put down roots of our own, purchasing 24 acres in the heart of Bulldog Nation in 2016. We planted 2,600 blueberry bushes and named it Damn Good Dawg Farms. Combining my background in design and the wedding industry with John's building knowledge, that farm became Hadden Estate. Today, we offer a working blueberry farm wedding experience like no other in the region. We have a mansion with a smaller event space as well as a B and B in the mansion. Our wedding package includes an overnight for the Bride and Groom plus extra rooms for your guests, as well as breakfast in the B & B. We offer in house catering, in house DJ, Coordinating, and Decor. If you like, we can be a one stop shop! You may also bring in your own vendors. The only vendor we require is bartending, you bring the alcohol being served and we provide a drink package which will need to be purchased from the venue. The historic venue features original 1930's brick walls, oversized wooden doors, large antique star-shaped and globe chandelier lighting, and a fully functioning bar with beer taps and more. Located in West Midtown Atlanta and built in 1970s, you will be greeted by the history that makes The West Venue the only venue of its kind in Atlanta. For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. The venue offers two distinct spaces for your event needs along with Grand Chandelier in Hall and 4k Projection Mapping!

Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!
