“Every time someone asks me what the highlight of our wedding was, I laugh — because as much as I loved each moment that I spent with my new husband, the real answer is THE BAND. From the second those opening chords of “Hot To Go” hit, I genuinely felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The energy was unreal. The dance floor was packed, the vibe was electric, and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. The lead singers were not only exceptionally talented, but also so kind, warm, and gracious. I have a musical background, and after a martini, I felt brave enough to join this marvelous band on stage, and they made me feel like an absolute rockstar (even though I’m quite sure I didn’t sound like one). “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. Our goal was to start with a romantic slow, yet upbeat wedding that leads into a dance party by the end of the night.
