Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. “Business Time was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! From our very first call, their communication was easy, quick, and personable. They really took the time to understand our vision and preferences. On the day of, they fed off the energy of the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night with their fun, musically talented performance that spanned all generations. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. They truly have such talent on all ends. Cannot not recommend them enough, they made our wedding so memorable.”

We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? “My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! “Joseph and Erika played a huge part in how special our wedding day was. We genuinely enjoyed every single part of working with them, from the beginning stages including them hearing our vision and vibe for the wedding, during the planning and using the app which made outlining our event and plans so easy, to the event itself where they really engaged all of our guests and got the party going. Even though we had a brunch wedding, Joseph and Erika helped it feel like we were "dancing the night away!" We had so many of our guests immediately after the wedding and for weeks after comment on what talented and amazing musicians Joseph and Erika are and how fun they helped to make our reception. We loved that they included both live renditions of all of our favorite songs as well as had a killer DJ playlist. Definitely don't miss out on the sing along songs. This duo is so easy to work with and they were so gracious when we fumbled a little on the timing of our event and added an additional hour only to their set only weeks before the wedding. All to say, we are just so grateful we found Joseph and Erika! They are gems.”

“DJ Buono & DJ Tavo & crew were absolutely incredible!! As a news reporter, I can appreciate producing a SHOW and that is exactly what they put on! This was SO much MORE than a great wedding!! From the first phone call, DJ Tavo's excitement and attention to detail was top tier. DJ Buono helped sculpt our ENTIRE reception & even gave us the idea to have dinner become more of a performance with our violinist. They immediately welcomed her into the mix and it made for the BEST time!! You would have thought she worked with them nightly. This was an elegant night out in Boston meets IBIZA!! We could barely sit still to eat because we were all dancing in our seats!! I have never seen guests rush the dance floor like this. (& I've once been to 13 weddings in a single year) To the point, we had to tell some of them to sit down so we could do parent dances!! People literally could not wait to start dancing/celebrating!! We cannot believe this was our WEDDING!!! & it wouldn't have been the same without Black Diamond Event Production! People are still messaging us to say this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Not only is this team so talented that it is almost out of this world, they are also good people. People you'd want sitting at your table, people you'd want in your corner, and people you will want to keep in touch with forever. DJ Tavo sent us our dinner and reception mixes as they played the night of our wedding almost immediately. Which means we can keep reliving this night!! It was such a sweet surprise. We will never forget this & will be recommending them to all of our friends and family. We will scream it from the top of Boston's Prudential Center (where our reception was) if we have to! Not to mention, this was the FIRST ever full wedding reception up there (with this guest count) and they took on the challenge with EASE!! Book Black Diamond Event Production!! You won't regret it!!! David gave us suggestions on why certain lighting changes the whole vibe of the events. Used him for three events and all three were phenomenal. He also worked as the emcee and announced events and worked with our day of coordinator to make sure things went smoothly. Our ceremony music was timed perfectly. The absolute highlight was our dance floor. We are picky when it comes to music and DJ Kevin made sure to play what we wanted while also mixing songs and was observant on what people wanted to hear.
