The Bell Tower Event Center is owned and operated by Teddy and Amy Gabbart. Bell Tower Event Center is located in Downtown Durant, Oklahoma, which makes it a great central location to host an event. Bell Tower was formerly known as The W – Wedding and Event Center but is historically known as the First United Methodist Church. The history of this building and its beautiful architecture make it a very unique venue for the Texoma area, and a perfect place for your next event! Built-in 1923, this 25,000 square foot historic church has three venues to choose from: The Parlor, The Chapel, and The Loft. There’s plenty of reasons for you to choose the Civic Center for your wedding but we’re really proud that we’re the LARGEST venue in the area. We can accommodate any size wedding up to 750 guests in our exhibit hall. We also have a great location just off Interstate 30 with plenty of free parking to host your guests. The Wells Lamont Glove Factory was built in 1951, providing new industrial opportunities for the people of Mount Vernon. Since then, it has served as a manufacturing space for several other businesses. In 2020, the Copeland Family purchased the vacant property with a goal of reviving the excitement the building had brought to the town in the fifties. Our family moved to Mount Vernon in 2009. Ever since, we have worked hard to add something special to our unique little town. The Glove Factory was reimagined with each couple in mind to create a breathtaking space for your special day. The Venue on Main is a beautiful timeless space well suited for a wide variety of events - Weddings, Receptions, Ceremonies, Birthday Parties, Live Entertainment w/ Dancing, Special Occasion Luncheon/Dinners, Corporate Events, Meetings, Community Events etc... Our historical downtown event ballroom resides in Denison, Texas with a capacity of 90 people. The main Ballroom has beautiful wood floors, original tin ceiling and columns. Over 2000 sq feet it is a lovely place for any type of event. Most of our wedding are take advantage of our sensational package - only $1000.00 for three days - from Friday at 9am to Sunday at 3pm. We offer the best value pricing but don't mistake that for a budget or low quality. We are proud to be able to provide a beautiful venue for small events.
