As someone who has spent the last 11 years in the wedding industry, I've had the privilege of working at countless venues and seeing some truly incredible spaces. What's remarkable about Founders Grove is that somehow Denise and Amber have taken the very best parts of so many venues and thoughtfully brought them together into one place. The venue itself is stunning. Every detail feels intentional. From the flow of the property to the beauty of the ceremony and reception spaces, it's clear that this wasn't just built to host weddings. It was built to create experiences. The space feels elegant, welcoming, and incredibly versatile while still maintaining a warmth that makes it feel personal. What truly sets Founders Grove apart, however, is Denise and Amber. Denise has a calming presence and a genuine passion for serving couples. You can feel how deeply she cares about every person who walks through the doors. Amber brings an incredible vision, attention to detail, and energy that is reflected throughout the entire property. Together, they are an exceptional team whose love for what they do shines through in every interaction. My team at OnTheBeatFX had the honor of serving as the exclusive entertainment vendor during Founders Grove's opening weekend, and we were able to meet countless couples, families, and friends. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. People weren't just impressed by the beauty of the venue. They felt welcomed, cared for, and excited about the experience being created there. For couples considering Founders Grove, know that you're not simply booking a beautiful venue. You're partnering with people who genuinely care about your wedding and are committed to helping create meaningful memories for you and your loved ones. With love, OnTheBeatFX

Our daughter’s wedding at The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ was absolutely flawless, and we could not be happier with how the day turned out. As parents of the bride, you always hope everything runs smoothly, but the team here completely exceeded our expectations. The staff here is truly exceptional. Charlotte was our lead salesman and made the initial booking process clear and stress-free. Our wedding manager and coordinator, Jamie and Morgan, were absolute rockstars who ensured every single detail of the day was perfectly organized. A special shout-out goes to Sue, our incredibly attentive waitress, who took care of us from early morning prep all the way to late night. The scenery at the venue is magnificent and provided the most stunning backdrop for both the ceremony and the photographs. What truly amazed us was how effortlessly the team managed the crowd flow. The transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, and finally into the reception, was incredibly smooth and well-timed. To top it all off, the food was top-of-the-line delicious. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and main entrees especially the sole stuffed with crabmeat and the NY strip steak. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with a world-class team that executes events flawlessly, we highly recommend The Legacy Club!

Camden County Boathouse was a 10/10! Staff was super accommodating and easy to contact. The space is very large and beautiful. The bathrooms- which was the only part I didn’t like during the tour the year prior- were newly renovated and gave the space an even more luxurious feel. The indoor ceremony space- which I was very nervous about- was beautiful and made me even forget about the rainy weather. When I arrived, the entire ceremony space ( chairs, walls, etc) had already been set up which was really nice. I decided to move a few tables around last min and staff helped immediately. Martina, who gave me my original tour, was amazing and gave me some great advice early on in our planning journey. Overall, my husband and I both agree we picked an amazing venue with amazing staff and wouldn’t change a thing. My main concern, given our spring wedding, was finding a space that was just as beautiful inside as it was outside in the event that we needed to move everything indoors.. Camden County Boathouse was just that!

Merchantville Country Club was the perfect site for our microwedding this past June! They did a fantastic job of accomodating our small group of 25 guests with just 3 months notice for the perfect on-site ceremony followed by an intimate reception. Alyssa, the event coordinator, was extremely responsive to all of our questions throughout the wedding planning process and was very helpful in organizing a seamless day. Her staff was professional, detail oriented, and kind leaving us worry free on our wedding day. The food was delicious and they crafted a signature cocktail special for our event. Cocktail hour was awesome with all of the different food choices! Their grounds are stunning and our pictures turned out fantastic thanks to the beautiful landscaping. I would highly recommend Merchantville Country Club! My family has previously hosted graduation parties, baby showers, and other events here and we have consistently had a positive experience.

The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists

My now husband and I have been going to Fringe since early in our dating. It's a place we love for its beer garden, good food, cool building, and view of the Ben Franklin Bridge twinkling at night. We knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding here, but we had no idea just how magical the experience would be. Working with Liz at Fringe Bar and Devi at FringeArts Theater made everything so easy. Liz was incredible to work with on all details regarding food and drink menu, schedule of events, and coordinating with other vendors including table rentals, florists, and musicians. Her recommendations were spot on, and our night flowed so effortlessly on our side because of the whole staff's diligent work to make our experience amazing. Our guests enjoyed the indoor and outdoor beer garden during cocktail hour with ample places to cozy up on a beautiful fall night, drinking cocktails outside and inside while kids played corn hole and garden games. When we moved dinner into the theater space, guests were blown away by the delicious food and ambiance. Every appetizer, cocktail, and entree was out of this world delicious, and we had no problem with allergies or dietary restrictions at our 130 person reception. Our guests are still talking about how great the food and service was, months after the fact. Liz made all of our wildest dreams come true. 300 freshly shucked oysters during cocktail hour? You got it. Mai tais with housemade orgeat? It's their specialty. Steak frites for the adults and grilled cheese for the kids? No problem at all. Fireball shots in the middle of dinner with Pitbull's "Fireball" playing in the background? Executed perfectly. The wine poured effortlessly, nobody had to wait at the beautiful bar for a cocktail made to order, and best of all: Liz was spot on in her price estimates so there were no surprises at the end of the night. We went to Fringe the next day to sign the final bill, and Liz was waiting for us with boxed up leftovers from dinner and dessert for our family to enjoy while we flew off on our honeymoon. Liz and every person working with her is really, truly, the best in the business. My husband and I agree that celebrating our wedding at Fringe was the easiest and best decision we made. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Arch Street Meeting House
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Philadelphia, PA
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Caters to out-of-town guests
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Lighting and sound are not included
Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!

We got married at Ramblewood on July 5, 2025 and had the most perfect day! The events team really blew us away and took care of everything so that we could be present and enjoy our day. We initially toured with Gabrielle who was so bubbly and sweet (she ended up being on maternity leave for our wedding). Alison stepped in to coordinate leading up to and on the day of the wedding, and she pulled it all together for us! Katie, the day of concierge, was an absolute rockstar!! She was there for us every step of the way, offering an extra hand to hold my train or bouquet, bringing us water and drinks, making us a plate of all of our hors d’oeuvres, and giving me the sweetest hype up speech before walking down the aisle. I wish that everyone could have a Katie on their wedding day! The venue was beautiful, our guests loved the food, and the chocolate room was so much fun! My husband also loved having the golf simulator room. We were able to bring our decorations the day before which was super helpful, and Alison and the team set everything up for us which was so nice. They were also super accommodating and helped us set up a separate room for our tea ceremony which took place after dinner. Whatever we needed, they went out of their way to make it happen. We couldn’t be happier with choosing Ramblewood for our wedding day!

The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.

The Fitler Club was a fantastic choice for our daughters wedding venue which was held Memorial Day weekend. From the very beginning, their communication was quality, professional, and timely - they were a pleasure to work with. The staff was top-notch, going above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. The venue itself offered multiple beautiful settings for pictures, and the flow of the event was perfectly spaced out. We couldn't have asked for a better value for the exceptional service and stunning backdrop they provided. We highly recommend the Fitler Club to any couple looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding experience. The food was all 5 star in appearance and taste. Not only was it a wedding but a family reunion and worth every penny.

We got married at Osteria July 2024 and it was the most magical experience. Communication with the whole team throughout the whole process was easy, and Fiona offered so much helpful guidance in navigating and planning the day as a bride with no wedding planner/coordinator. Between the food, cocktails, greenhouse, and overall intimate ambiance it was the best decision we could have made to starting our life together, as we now have a place to go for all of our future celebrations.

I wanted to throw a party for my work friends with only a few weeks notice. I wanted a low-key weekend event, where people could bring dogs and kids and still have a nice time. Like a backyard barbecue without the hassle of cooking and cleaning (for someone who doesn’t have a yard!) Cira Green was able to accommodate us with very little fuss. A couple emails back-and-forth and I had exactly what I wanted, they have lots of different food and drink options and I was able to pick what we needed. Good food, nice drinks, a beautiful view and the tent insured everyone would be comfortable rain or shine.

Choosing Cicala as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. If feeding your guests an incredible meal is a priority for you like it was for us, you won’t regret hosting your event here. Our friends and family have been raving about the food and gorgeous atmosphere, and the friendly, hard working staff made our wedding a dream come true. Cicala is able to work with you to make your event uniquely yours, but at the same time, we’re delighted that our event was uniquely Cicala. Memorable is a guarantee. Their event coordinator, Dawn, was fabulous throughout the planning process and I was impressed with how she and the rest of the team at Cicala executed the plans day-off. They did everything they could to make sure that we could simply sit back and enjoy the occasion. Our only regret is forgetting to grab our doggy bag on the way out! Thank you, Cicala, and we’ll see you for dinner the next time we’re in town.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Penn Museum last weekend, and we truly cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we started looking at venues, we knew we wanted a museum setting, and the Penn Museum far exceeded every other option we saw. The grand, ornate architecture and the incredible exhibits won us over instantly. We loved that both the outdoor ceremony space and the indoor backup option were equally stunning. Regardless of weather conditions, we knew we’d be happy. The versatility of the venue was another huge plus, with so many beautiful rooms to choose from for each part of the celebration (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). Once the museum closes to the public at 5 PM, it essentially becomes yours for the evening. Almost all exhibits are open for guests to explore. Some of our favorite aspects of the venue were our outdoor ceremony in Warden Garden, which allowed for a dramatic processional through the grand brown doors, and cocktail hour in the breathtaking Chinese Rotunda. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the uniqueness of the venue, the outstanding food, and the warmth of the entire staff. I do highly recommend having a day-of coordinator to assist if you choose Penn Museum, given that it is primarily a museum and that created some added complexities for logistics.

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
We recently had our wedding at Cecil Creek in December, and are still beaming about how incredible the day was. From the moment we met Sam and toured the farm, we knew this was the right spot for us. The service and warmth we experienced on the tour was a perfect indicator of what was to come during the months of planning. Denise was great to work with, and during our details meeting asked us questions we had not even thought of. They had an amazing selection of decorations that we could use, and added extra chairs to the Greenhouse so that everyone had a seat at our ceremony. We had originally been hopeful that we could host our ceremony outdoors if the weather held up and the staff was there to support that dream however when we determined it was too cold they pivoted with grace. While the greenhouse had been our second choice it ended up being the perfect ceremony site and we got compliments from so many guests about how unique and cozy it was. The food and service were absolutely incredible! Luna and her staff had eyes and ears throughout the entire space, and were beyond accommodating to everyone with dietary restrictions and those needing golf cart rides in between spaces during the night. When I pulled a muscle during the dancing, Luna brought me orange slices for electrolytes! That moment encapsulates the incredible hospitality! All of our guests were extremely impressed with the incredible food and menu during cocktail hour and the reception, and we are still getting guests telling us how amazing the staff and the food was throughout the night. We were quite a large event with around 165 guests and the space was absolutely perfect for our size–cozy and yet spacious enough for a large dance floor and dessert bar. We had our cocktail hour in the market which was also cozy but comfortable enough. We liked the flow from the greenhouse, to the market, and finally into the barn to cap off the night. To sum it up once more– this was the best day of our lives and we attribute quite a bit of that joy to the ambience, aesthetic, and mostly service at Cecil Creek Farm. You will not regret working with Sam, Denise, Luna, Mark and the whole team! **Photos courtesy of Jennifer Morris Photography

My partner and I fell in love with Pentridge Station almost right away as customers — the friendly staff, the chill/homey vibe, and the welcoming atmosphere all helped us to feel a sense of community and belonging in a city that was new to us. When we finally decided to throw a wedding celebration after 2 years of being married (specifically a cook-out vibe, easy breezy celebration) it was a no brainer to reach out to Pentridge. That being said, it’s a pretty versatile space and can be dressed up or down depending on the kind of wedding you’re going for. We coordinated directly with the owners, Jocelyn and Ephream, who were both very thoughtful, sweet, and gracious throughout the entire process. Their flexible event rental options, list of recommended food vendors, and local DJs really helped to make us feel supported in our planning. Their bartending staff was attentive and wonderful. All of our guests - a mix of family from North Jersey, Maryland, and New York - were so impressed with the venue. For almost all of them it was their first time visiting us in West Philly, and having Pentridge Station be their introduction to the neighborhood and our life in Philadelphia felt incredibly special. We would highly recommend considering Pentridge if you’re looking to celebrate your love in a fun, community-driven space with TONS of heart and personality. You’d be hard pressed to find a better customer service experience anywhere else!

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.
