In the Spring of 2013, I had a craving, an idea to make myself a crepe, made from only the best ingredients: whole grain wheat, buckwheat, and fresh fruit, topped with a slight indulgence of Nutella. After a few tweaks to make it my own, I had the perfect recipe and the perfect taste!

Lorraine Ceglia is the owner and creator of Beautifauxl Cakes. Lorraine has been designing and decorating cakes since 2008. Since then, Lorraine has appeared in two issues of Cake Central Magazine, as a featured cake artist. She has also been acknowledged for her cake artistry for the charity Icing Smiles, by Satin Ice. In 2017, Lorraine was contracted by Lord & Taylor to create twenty display cakes for a window display at their flagship store in NYC. ​ Her passion for cake decorating led her to create Beautifauxl Cakes as an elegant and chic alternative to the conventional bakery cake.
