Mike was responsive and very patient with our back and forth leading up to the wedding - my fiance and I left song decisions to the last minute, but Mike was extremely flexible. My fiance and I have specific taste in music and gave Mike a long list of "must plays" and "do not plays" but again, he was super flexible and kept our guests on the dance floor until the last dance. He was even willing to throw down when our guests pushed back on exiting the dance floor for the private last dance - they had a different idea of a send off, which ended up perfect, but he stood ground until I said it was good by us. If you want someone who is experienced and is there to make your day as special as possible, then you have to go with Excite Mobile DJs and Event Lighting”

“Justing was a fantastic DJ! We gave him a short list of must-plays then let him do the rest, and he was great at reading the room and playing what the people wanted. He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. We also got the photo booth add-on which ended up getting a ton of use and people loved it. Sawyer was manning the booth and 5 stars to him as well!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! “Business Time was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! From our very first call, their communication was easy, quick, and personable. They really took the time to understand our vision and preferences. On the day of, they fed off the energy of the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night with their fun, musically talented performance that spanned all generations. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. They truly have such talent on all ends. Cannot not recommend them enough, they made our wedding so memorable.”

From the first song they played, people in our wedding party got up and danced - how could they not? It was non-stop dancing all night long. I highly recommend the O-Tones for your wedding reception if you love swing music. “Hiring CC was one of the best wedding decisions we made! From the beginning, Dan was super responsive and clear about the band’s style, availability and price. After booking, Dan was great about answering questions and keeping in touch about song requests, timeline and other important wedding items. If you’re looking for a band that you would want to dance and sing along with at a fun bar or party, on top of being extremely talented musicians, these are your people. They also understand weddings and are willing to take on fun challenges. They took the time to successfully pull off many requests such as: - My requests and timing for the ceremony music which included acoustic renditions of Harvest Moon, With a Little Help from my Friends and Here, There, and Everywhere. They also take care of the sound systems and mic set up for the ceremony. - An amazing live rendition of Touch Me by The Doors for our reception entrance - Another amazing live rendition of Come Sail Away by Styx for our first dance which transitioned into open dance floor for all guests - Helping me pull off a surprise outfit change/re entrance into the party which included allowing me to join the band to sing Just A Girl by No Doubt. My guests had nothing but great things to say about CC and applauded their crowd work and musical talent. I also highly recommend paying to add on the sax player. They were AMAZING and added the perfect touch. Overall, Champagne Casanova is completely worth it for your wedding. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!”
