“Neal is the G.O.A.T! He was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with and played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. From the very beginning, Neal was thoughtful, professional, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the music feel like us. He went above and beyond by creating custom mixes for our parent dances, and they turned out absolutely perfectly. He also handled the audio for our ceremony, and the microphones and speakers were flawless! Every word could be heard clearly, there were no technical difficulties despite this being a completely outdoor wedding, and we never had to worry about a thing. The cocktail hour and reception was just as incredible. Neal played every song we wanted, completely understood the atmosphere we were going for, and kept our dance floor packed all night. The volume of every song was also perfect and we had so many guests compliment the music both during and after the wedding, which says everything! He knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy going while still making sure the music felt personal to us. Beyond being an amazing DJ, Neal was simply such a pleasure to have as part of our wedding day. He went above and beyond at every turn, made the entire process easy and stress-free, and absolutely delivered when it mattered most. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “Jeremy was fantastic and was able to fulfill our desire to make our wedding reception a party! He uses a comprehensive questionnaire to gather all information regarding timeline, genres, must-plays, and “do not plays”. He communicates in a timely and efficient manner which was extremely helpful when last minute changes inevitably come up. His attention to detail allowed for our wedding night to run flawlessly. “We had an amazing experience with DJ Brian for our wedding! He was fantastic both as our DJ and MC and we felt like everything was handled so seamlessly throughout the day. For our ceremony, he coordinated directly with our coordinator to make sure the processional and ceremony timing went smoothly. We also had specific songs we wanted played at specific moments throughout the wedding and he nailed all of those cues. One of the highlights was our Battle of the Brothers game during the reception. We had a specific idea for how we wanted the game to work, but we didn't even have to walk him through how to engage the crowd — he immediately knew how to host it and keep everyone involved. Our guests were incredibly engaged and it ended up being one of the most fun moments of the reception. For the dancing, while he didn't end up playing every song we had specifically requested, there was someone on the dance floor pretty much the entire night, which says a lot about how well he read the room! He was professional, easy to work with, and did a great job keeping the energy going while also making sure the important moments of the evening happened smoothly. We’re so glad we chose him for our wedding and would definitely recommend him!”

“I would give Dj Maskell a BILLION stars if I could! Not only was he the best wedding dj ever, he always played the biggest part in our wedding planning process. My husband and I are very adhd and we were dragging our feet to get all the little details figured out. Mark helped us get organized and even provided us with a super detailed spreadsheet with EVERYTHING involving our wedding to make sure nothing was missed. We booked him over 2 years before our wedding and every single time we reached out with questions, he responded immediately with answers. Anytime we needed to talk to him, he was able to schedule meetings with us right away. He met with us WEEKLY the month of our wedding to ensure everything was going exactly as planned and because of all of those things, we tell everyone Dj Maskell is the reason we were able to pull off our dream wedding. He was our “Master of Ceremonies” as well so he made sure everything went smoothly and everything stayed on schedule during our ceremony! Our ceremony was on the beach so we were worried our guests wouldn’t be able to hear us because of the wind, waves, etc. But Mark had discrete mics set up for us so everyone could hear us perfectly. He was able to use all the songs we wanted, even though some of them were only available on YouTube and SoundCloud. As for music, he absolutely KILLED IT! We are big into EDM, primarily dubstep, and he curated the perfect amount of our fave music, with music for the normies as well. My guests were hyping him up all weekend and even STILL text me saying how much they love him lol. I don’t write reviews often, but I wish I could shout from the rooftops how wonderful Mark is to work with, and how kind and helpful he really is. He not only played our wedding, but also our Welcome Party the night before AND Wedding After Party. He has the best energy and is HILARIOUS. He really brought all the vibes to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. PS: HIS LIGHT SHOW IS AMAZING!!! He has the coolest most discrete lights (you may be able to see in some of the pics I posted) and they are super slim and don’t get in the way. He let me control the lights at our after party lol!”

“The energy, showmanship, hype, and FUN that 24K Event Band brought to our wedding reception was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I can't even count how many guests have told us, weeks and months after our wedding, how incredible they were. Our dance floor was packed all night long, and when the band was on their (well-deserved) break, Korey stayed out and led the crowd in the Cupid Shuffle!! When I think about what made our wedding day so special, I think about 24K. Maybe I'm still riding the wave of emotions that comes with planning a wedding, but I could cry thinking about how joyful our reception was because of 24K's musical magic. You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

“Jamie was one of our favorite vendors to work with! He was professional, kind, thoughtful, and never made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. We worked so well together, and I had so much fun collaborating with him on music decisions and making amazing playlists for every part of the wedding. He even helped with special requests, such as altering some of the music we were going to use and make them appropriate for certain parts of our wedding. During the wedding, he was one of the only vendors I didn't have to worry about. I cannot recommend DJ Casanova enough!”

“Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”

We used a pop strings duo for the cocktail hour and they continued during dinner then we pivoted to a New Orleans second line led by a sax player followed by a fun hybrid DJ dance party.
