“I don't remember how I stumbled across Mary's instagram one day but I'm so glad I did. I immediately followed her, even before I was engaged/planning a wedding or anything. I just fell in love with the art she created, the moods she captured, and how you can just feel her photos. Then when my now husband proposed, I immediately knew, I wanted to book Mary. My husband is also a photographer so his standards are high, when I showed him her work, he was in. We met up with her for our engagement photos and it was incredibly different then what I was expecting, in the best way possible. We both though we'd feel award and uncomfortable being in front of the camera but Mary put us at ease, hyped us up, and made us feel so comfortable and giddy. Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. Imagine having an adventure elopement day that includes whatever floats your boat. Whether it’s adrenaline-packed, laughter-filled, chill vibes, or all of the above. Then add in a kickass connection between you & your partner that’s enabled by dedicating that day TO YOU.

“Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. I’ve already had friends and colleagues come up to me asking how to elope like we did. My advice is, “Here’s Sam’s contact info – you need to call her.””

“Georgy is such an amazing photographer. He is really easy to work with and is flexible. When needing help to find locations, he would put in the time to help find a few and suggest them. We aren’t very photogenic. Georgy would help and teach us how to pose and stand. Very grateful for him to fix us during our photoshoots. I’d say, Georgy is very dedicated in his work. During our engagement photoshoot, he arrived early to the location scouting out perfect areas and snap a few pictures to test. Also, on the day of our wedding, the original location did not work out as planned. Georgy thought quickly on his feet and suggested another location that wasn’t too far away.
