“Loved working with Flowers for Dreams! Lilly was great to work with — very thorough, professional and calming. She was helpful when I didn’t exactly know what I wanted but also very receptive when I had specific things in mind that I wanted to incorporate. Very easy to work with and accommodating in every way! This company takes care of of so many aspects too, I loved that I could rent candles/stands/votives and it was all Included in a great price. I also love that they provided some inspo options when I wasn’t sure how I wanted things (ex: sweetheart table) and Included options at different price points. Really couldn’t recommend them enough. I really felt like we were taken care of throughout the whole process. It also put me at ease that my photographer had a great experience with them in the past as well! I also love their mission and that a portion of their profits are donated! Very very pleased”

Jen House Design
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Woodhaven, MI

Jen House Design is a business based out of Plymouth, MI, specializing in floral and event stylings for weddings and other special events. Owners Jen House and Kendall Goddard have co-designed and coordinated hundreds of events, bringing beautiful botanical compositions to every occasion. This duo shares a passion for beautiful florals and lush, garden-inspired designs. The expertly chosen flowers can help to set the tone for a wedding as they can reflect the personality behind the couple and give rise to a beautiful setting.

“Jen House Design was so amazing to work with. They had responded to my initial inquiry right away and I loved them from the start. From my first meeting with Kendall from Jen House Design, I knew they were the right choice. We got married at a racetrack and I had ideas for some very unconventional decorations made from car parts that I wanted to add flowers to. They were ecstatic to take on the challenge and embraced all of my strange out of the box ideas and made me feel so good. I had previously gone to several other florists who made me feel like less of a person and told me my ideas were strange and refused to work with me on my bizarre dream. Jen House Floral was completely opposite of that, and executed my dream perfectly. They were so great adding to my ideas, and working with me to keep to my budget. The day of our wedding they delivered our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flower baskets right to our hotel room then proceeded to set up our venue. I was seriously obsessed with my bouquet! I had my nose buried in it the whole time because it smelled so amazing, and I couldn't stop staring at it because it was so beautiful. The whole venue looked amazing with all of the floral arrangements and small touches they added. I was really blown away and impressed with Jen House Design for carrying out my insane vision of getting married at a Race Track but also making it look beautiful and elegant. 10/10 recommended!!! Such an incredible team!!!”

Niche Hitch
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Serves Woodhaven, MI

Lindsay started her career as a teenager working in the floral department of a local grocer. After graduating with a bachelor’s in fashion and a minor in fiber arts, she retraced her floral tradition with an enlightened approach. Niché Hitch was established in 2016 in Joshua Tree, CA from a repurposed vintage trailer that doubled as a studio space and mobile retailer (hence “Hitch”). It was here Lindsay got her start in the event industry, designing ceremony floral for destination weddings. Niché Hitch has since relocated to Detroit, MI where she has a private studio, and focuses on large scale weddings, events, and installations.

“Niche Hitch was the perfect florist for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, they were attentive and responsive, making sure they fully understood our vision. Their floral designs were truly high quality, with an artistic and sculptural style that stood out from the typical wedding flowers. The most unique part of my wedding was the florals - it was a stunning focal point that all of our guests are still talking about. Niche Hitch exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for their incredible work that truly elevated our special day. 10/10 Would recommend 3”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Woodhaven, MI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.”

Poppy Flowers

  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Woodhaven, MI

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Finding a florist was so overwhelming and "minimum investments" were crazy! I decided to go with Poppy Flowers because the pricing was actually reasonable and there wasn't a minimum investment of like 5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)”

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

“The Faux Bouquets were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was fast and clear throughout the entire process, making it easy for us to coordinate the floral designs we wanted. Their gorgeous designs came together flawlessly, and they were incredibly easy to work with to assemble the bouquets exactly as we wanted. Little Workshop Floral

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Woodhaven, MI

is a home-based wedding and event floral studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, serving couples throughout Metro Detroit. We create bespoke, garden-inspired floral designs with a focus on sustainability and artistry. Consultations are by appointment only.

“Laura was truly a joy and a pleasure to work with. Her level of professionalism, communication, and execution is top-tier. From our first conversation, she shared with us a "mood board", outlining both our and her vision for how our wedding florals would look. This easily allowed us to see and communicate our thoughts and ideas. Laura was also honest, never trying to upsell us. We appreciated that when we began discussing more ornate floral designs, Laura reminded us that this was out of the budget we had initially told her, and offered us more cost effective solutions. We did ultimately end up going with the more ornate design and it turned out beautifully. Laura took our initial vision of a "floral cloud" suspended in our venue's pergola from a outlandish idea and worked with it until she had something realistic, considering not only how we would suspend it (she ultimately settled on a pretty complicated cabling system that was rock solid) but also how the flowers would last through the evening without access to water. This is not something your average florist could do - but Laura is not an average florist. Several of our guests commented on her displays, and we have received many photos from our guests just of her floral cloud that she made for us. It really was the star decoration of our venue. If Laura ever gets bored of florals (unlikely), she could also make a great wedding coordinator. Throughout the planning process, Laura gave us several reminders on general wedding tips and was proactive with our vendors on securing timelines, promised equipment, and other things that we ourselves missed. We highly recommend Little Workshop Floral. They will be our first stop for any future floral needs!”

“Working with Designs that Matter for our wedding was a wonderful experience! Yael was so fun to work with! She listened to us and captured our vision for a sustainable wedding perfectly. Yael reused materials and reduced waste, while still creating professional and elegant florals and decor. She took my Pinterest board and created beautiful table settings, a guest list board, florals, and a chuppah that made me cry because it was so perfect. I’m not a DIY bride, and Yael took my ideas and made them a reality. She came and set up early and stayed late to tear it down. My bridal bouquet was so gorgeous. I loved that she cared to get to know us as a couple. Her designs were stunning and captured exactly what we'd been imagining for our wedding day. My favorite service: she created mini-bouquets from the bud vase florals at the end of the night so our guests could take home a piece of the celebration. “Stephanie was great to work with from beginning to end. The flowers were beautiful! We would definitely recommend Keepsake Designs. We received many compliments. She did a wonderful job on the arrangements using inspiration photos from my daughter including making pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen. She also provided glass vases for the bridesmaids to display their bouquets at the bridal table. I was kept up to date via text with delivery as well as clean up. We received quotes from 3 other florists and Stephanie was by far the most reasonably priced. I wish I had better pictures to share since we don't have the photographers' photos as yet, but we had a 26' garland for the chapel, flowers attached to every other row, bouquets for 7 bridesmaids and the bride, 7 pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen and the groom, 2 regular boutonnieres for the fathers, 2 corsages for the mothers and then 12 centerpieces.”

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

“We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!”
