We are an 8-piece wedding and event band that has been around metro Detroit for 10 years. We play dance music from the past six decades. We put on a fun and entertaining show that gets the audience involved.

We cater each event specifically to the client. They pick all the music they want us to play as well as the songs we DJ. We are versatile - you want a special song for your first dance? We'll learn it. You want an 80s themed event? No problem.

    Best Wedding Band!

    Cosmic Groove was our wedding band, and they also handled all the audio for our ceremony and reception, along with a jazz trio for cocktail hour. I truly can’t say enough good things about how they handled our entire wedding day. They know exactly what they’re doing, and the dance floor was packed all night! They brought so much energy and made the reception such a blast. Our guests of all ages raved about how awesome the band was! Their song list was incredibly expansive, and all we had to do was pick our favorite songs. They curated the setlist perfectly for the night and kept the energy going from start to finish. We met with TJ a few times before the wedding to go over our timeline and song choices, and he had great tips and insights that helped everything run smoothly. On the day of, he continued to check in and make sure everything stayed on track. I had high expectations based on their reviews, and Cosmic Groove exceeded every single one of them. We couldn’t have asked for a better band!

    Absolutely Amazing!!!

    All I can say is wow! T.J. and the Cosmic Groove band was nothing short of incredible! Not only are they extremely talented musicians who are great at bringing the energy to the party and keeping guests dancing the whole night, but they are incredibly professional as well. Cosmic Groove was the highlight of our wedding! Multiple guests were saying how amazing the band was and asking how we found them! T.J. was so organized, an excellent communicator, and so very accommodating. We loved working with him every step of the way! He went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect day, and we certainly did. We had guests of all ages attending, and at one point there was hardly any room left on the dance floor because everyone was dancing and having a great time! Book them now and you definitely won't regret it! We were so impressed and if we could get married again, we'd book them again! Thank you, Cosmic Groove, for playing such a monumental part in our wedding day! We had a blast with you guys!
