We are fully insured and are based out of New York (NY) / New Jersey (NJ) but can supply our services worldwide for destination weddings.

Dhoom Events Will ROCK Your Wedding!
We first used Milin of Dhoom Events for our daughter’s wedding in 2022, and he did such a fantastic job that we asked him back for our second daughter’s wedding at The Lighthouse at Pier Sixty One last Friday. Somehow, he managed to top his performance from four years ago! We had 300 guests—a very mixed crowd. About 200 were non-Indian guests in their 30s and 40s, while the other 100 were older, some in their mid-70s, and largely of Indian origin. Milin put together such a skillful mix of music that, from start to finish, the large dance floor was PACKED with guests of every age. I now have friends texting me asking for his playlist! Milin was also an absolute pleasure to work with. He is detail-oriented, listened carefully to everything we had to say, and offered advice that was genuinely helpful. He met with us a week before the wedding and again just before the event began to make sure all the key details were covered. His pricing was also very appropriate for our venue and the scale of the event. I highly recommend Milin. He is a truly seasoned professional who knows how to read a crowd and keep a dance floor going all night.

Milin and his team did absolutely killed it with their DJ and lighting services for our wedding! He expertly mixed a set list that seamlessly transitioned our requests, including top 40/pop, hip hop, Bollywood, and even latin/reggaeton. We got so many compliments from our guests and he really kept the energy going until the very end! His read on the room/our guests, professionalism, and execution were excellent and cannot recommend him highly enough!

INCREDIBLE!
DJ Milin and the Dhoom Events team kept our dance floor packed all night. We asked for a mix of Bollywood, Reggaeton, old-school, and new pop, and they blended everything seamlessly. Not only was the music amazing, but they also ensured our ceremony sound and reception flow went smoothly. The afterparty was just as epic! So many guests told us how much they loved the music. Their planning process was clear, simple, and organized, which we especially appreciated during hectic wedding prep. We are beyond grateful to have worked with them.

Perfect DJ
Milin was amazing. The dance floor was SO alive two nights in a row (Indian music night and American music night) - he worked off the song lists we requested and was great at reading the crowd and mixing tracks. The second night we also decided last-minute that we did want to mix in some Indian songs without having them prepared and he did that deftly on the fly. He was also super communicative and organized leading up to the event - he was incredibly easy to work with; our wedding planner and venue loved him as well!
