I started DJing in 2017 while attending the University of Iowa. What began as a curiosity quickly became something I was passionate about. Since then, I’ve spent years DJing throughout the Chicago suburbs, from bars and nightclubs to weddings and private events. My background has helped me develop an open-format style, learn how to read a crowd, and adapt throughout the night. I bring that same style to weddings—keeping things professional while creating a high-energy, packed dance floor. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, personable, and knows how to keep the energy right all night, I’d love to be a part of your wedding.

When you book with me, you’re working directly with me from our first conversation to the last song of your wedding night. I’m not here to oversell you I’ll be upfront about what I offer and what I recommend for your wedding. I’ve been DJing for over 10 years and have performed at hundreds of events. I also work as a wedding DJ with Nicky Avalo Studios, giving me experience with all kinds of couples, venues, and crowds. My goal is simple: for you and your guests to have an incredible time.

    The Best DJ!

    Absolutely amazing! Kept the dance floor packed all night and played the perfect mix of music. Everything flowed seamlessly, and our guests had such a great time. Couldn’t recommend them more!

    The best!!!

    Michael did such an amazing job! He was great at communicating throughout the entire process, incredibly personable, and so easy to work with. His DJing skills were phenomenal—he knew exactly when to bring the energy up and when to slow things down. Anytime the dance floor started to get a little sparse, he always had a banger queued up that got everyone right back out there. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Thank you so much again, Michael! Highly recommend!

    Worth Booking

    This DJ actually listens to the room instead of just running through their own setlist. The music hits different when someone knows what people want to hear. Clean mixing, great taste, and they’re smart about reading when to ramp things up or chill out. Saw them do a bar night and people were into it the whole time, no dead moments. No question I’d have them back.

    If you’re looking for a DJ who actually pays attention to what the crowd wants instead of just playing whatever, this is your person. Solid music selection, great mixing, and they know when to keep the energy up or dial it back depending on the vibe. Caught him at Tao and had great time. Never felt forced or out of touch. Would go see him again.

I come early as 2.5 hours or even 3-4 hours early depending on the set up and location.
I have uplighting, moving heads, and light bar lighting at the moment!
It depends how far.
My style is open-format, high-energy, and crowd-focused. I love mixing everything from throwbacks and sing-alongs to hip-hop, pop, dance, rock, and current hits. I bring a nightclub-style approach to weddings while still keeping things polished and professional. I’m always reading the room and adjusting throughout the night to keep the dance floor moving. As an MC, I keep things confident and engaging without being over the top. I’ll say what needs to be said to keep the night flowing and enhance the big moments, but I’m not the DJ who’s constantly shouting or talking on the microphone. I let the music and the moments speak for themselves.
