About LIGO Entertainment

LIGO Entertainment

Your Vibe, Your Event, Perfectly Mixed

Congratulations on your engagement! I’m Nathan from LIGO Entertainment, and we would be honored to help create the soundtrack for your special day. With over seven years of experience DJing weddings across the Chicagoland area, our goal is simple: to craft an unforgettable celebration that feels uniquely yours. We don’t just play songs, we create an experience. Every wedding gets a fully customized playlist, built around your style, your guests, and the moments that matter most. From your ceremony to cocktail hour to the last song of the night, we read the room, adjust the energy in real time, and keep the dance floor packed.

We also act as your MC, coordinating announcements, introductions, and special moments so your day flows seamlessly. Our team handles every detail, from lighting and sound setup to backup equipment, so you can focus on celebrating with your loved ones. Every wedding is different, and no two playlists are the same. Our priority is simple: make your wedding feel effortless, fun, and unforgettable.

    Thank you, LIGO Entertainment!

Nathan is a wonderful DJ. He is communicative, professional, and knows how to perfectly read a crowd in order to keep the dance floor full and energized all night long. He can also easily handle a wedding ceremony with multiple musical tracks, cues, and officiants/speakers. In addition, Nathan is a skilled emcee--he seamlessly keeps the event flowing by making all announcements clearly, concisely, and allowing guests to keep dining and dancing. We wholeheartedly recommend him to our clients.

We danced the whole night away! He played all of our requested songs, mixed songs seamlessly, and gave a shout out to our children…which made their night!

We always dress to match the style and formality of your event. For most weddings, this means a professional suit, but we’re happy to coordinate with black-tie, formal, or more relaxed dress codes. Our goal is to look polished, professional, and blend seamlessly with the atmosphere of your celebration.
What sets us apart is our focus on personalization and creating a packed dance floor. No two weddings are the same, so we never play the same set twice. Every playlist is customized around your style, your guests, and the energy you want for the night. With years of wedding experience across the Chicagoland area, we know how to read a crowd and keep the celebration flowing, from your grand entrance to the last song of the night. Our goal is to create an experience that feels seamless, fun, and uniquely yours.
Yes! Before your wedding, we’ll meet to go over your timeline along with your must-play and do-not-play songs. These help set the guardrails so the music reflects your style and vision for the night. During the reception, we’re happy to take guest requests as long as they fit the vibe you’ve created. Our goal is to keep the dance floor packed while making sure the music always stays true to your preferences.
Yes! We can provide music and sound coverage for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Before the wedding, we’ll meet to go over every detail, from your processional songs to the overall vibe you want during cocktail hour, so everything flows seamlessly and reflects your vision for the day.
Our style is all about keeping the dance floor full and the focus on your celebration. We believe the music should do the heavy lifting, and our job is to read the room and make seamless transitions that keep the energy going all night long. Your guests are there to celebrate you, not watch a DJ show, so we focus on creating the perfect soundtrack for the night rather than flashy tricks or technical routines.
We always come fully prepared with backup equipment, including additional sound gear and music libraries, so the event can continue smoothly in the unlikely case of a technical issue. In the rare event that I’m unable to perform due to illness or emergency, I work with a network of trusted professional DJs in the Chicagoland area who can step in to ensure your celebration goes exactly as planned. Your wedding day is too important to leave anything to chance, which is why we always have contingency plans in place.
