Tiara Hicks (DJ Lady T)
From the charming town of Luling, TX, I've always loved music and the magic it creates. My DJ journey started unexpectedly-when the DJ for my cousin's birthday party didn't show, I stepped in with just a laptop and speakers. That night taught me something powerful: the right music turns moments into memories. What started as a spontaneous solution became a growing passion. Every event, every setup is an opportunity to remind people why we gather, why we celebrate, why music matters. It isn't just about sound-it's about sharing joy, creating connection, and turning moments into ones your guests will talk about for years
I have the ability to read the room and adjust the music to build energy gradually—starting with songs that get all ages involved, then moving into high-energy tracks once the dance floor is full. I’ll also use the mic when needed to encourage participation, keep the energy flowing all night. We also have our amazing hype guy (Juan) who lights up the dance floor with led shoes, hats, and (personal information protected by Zola) the wedding, I’ll work with you to build your must-play list and your do-not-play list. During the reception, I’m happy to take requests from guests as long as they fit your style and don’t conflict with your preferences.
