Unforgettable Wedding and Food!
We had our wedding in July of 2021 and Artemis Foods catered and helped guide the most seamless event I have been to! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. My partner and I had never planned an event this large, and they were there for every step of the way. Lauren and her team were so responsive, and very helpful in answering anything we didn’t understand. For the food at our wedding, we really wanted to honor our cultural backgrounds, and Artemis Foods was able to blend our Peruvian and Vietnamese backgrounds into delicious appetizers and distinct entrees that worked beautifully together. We absolutely loved it! Many guests told me afterwards that the food was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. We are also very grateful for Artemis Foods’ flexibility. We originally had our wedding date for the summer of 2020 and were able to postpone without a hitch. Lauren and her team are so professional and the whole event turned out great based on all of our needs. I would recommend them to anyone who has any catering or event planning needs!

We had such a wonderful experience with Artemis Foods for our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Everything from the appetizers, oyster station, kids' menu to dinner was fantastic. Their staff was also amazing throughout the entire evening—professional, attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They took care of everything so smoothly, including cutting and serving our wedding cake. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and would absolutely recommend Artemis Foods to anyone looking for a caterer. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our wedding such a great day!

This would have been a 5-star review if the original head chef hadn't left the business right before my wedding, without warning. I understand staffing changes are outside the business's control, but the second tasting that followed was such an awful experience that it took me two years to feel ready to write this review. For my October 2024 wedding, food was my top priority. I chose my venue specifically because this caterer was able to make custom dishes. First tasting was literally perfect - the chef was great, Tracy who I was working with from the business side was so wonderful to communicate with! I was over the moon to lock this in so early in my wedding planning process - nearly a year in advance. But then the chef quit, and we had to have a second tasting. To make a long story short: at the second tasting, the new chef served saffron strands sprinkled directly on top of the rice — hundreds of dollars' worth of saffron used incorrectly. Anyone familiar with Iranian cooking, or with saffron's culinary use in general, knows it should be bloomed into an essence before being incorporated, not scattered on top. This was guidance we had given the original chef, but it clearly wasn't passed along to their replacement. On top of that, the fish was inedible, the meats were incorrectly prepared, and the rice was mushy - the ONLY thing they made correctly was the salad. I wasn't able to attend this second impromptu tasting myself, as it fell just two to three weeks before the wedding, during an already overwhelming stretch of work and wedding planning. This update was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. The wedding itself was a different story — the food, staff, and day-of execution were all excellent. That said, the food quality was largely because my mother invested significant time working directly with the new chef to make sure the menu was executed correctly - an insane amount of stress to put on her. What still bothers me is that we never received a follow-up call acknowledging what went wrong at the second tasting, or any offer to address the cost of the wasted saffron.
Artemis Foods•Jul 31, 2026Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re grateful to hear that the food, service, and day-of execution at your wedding were excellent, but we are truly sorry for the stress and disappointment you experienced leading up to it. The second tasting clearly did not reflect the level of care, preparation, or culinary expertise you expected from Artemis Foods. We also regret that the transition between chefs was not handled more smoothly, that important preparation notes were not carried forward, and that you did not receive the follow-up and acknowledgment you deserved afterward. Your mother should not have had to invest so much time and energy ensuring the menu was executed correctly, especially during an already demanding time for your family. We understand how deeply personal and important the food was for your celebration, and we’re sorry that this part of the planning process added stress rather than confidence. We appreciate your kind words about Tracy, our event staff, and the team’s execution on your wedding day. We’re also grateful that you shared the areas where we fell short. Your feedback is being taken seriously and will help us strengthen our communication, documentation, and follow-up processes. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly and properly acknowledge your experience. Please reach out to us at your convenience so we can continue the conversation privately. —The Artemis Foods Team

Artemis catered my summer solstice garden wedding and were an intrinsic part of what was an absolutely perfect day. They put together a delicious spread of tea sandwiches, a beautiful vegetable platter, various different hors d'oeuvres that our guests raved about (try the meatloaf stuffed mushrooms and maple bacon mini biscuits) and they cut up and plated our cakes, even though we did not get them through Artemis. They ordered all rented tents, linens, plates and cutlery too. Not having to figure out what was needed was a task we were so grateful to not worry about. I want to give a special shout out to Katie, who was an absolute dream to work with. She was crystal clear on what Artemis could and could not do and worked with us to accommodate a bunch of different allergies & dietary choices. She and everyone at Artemis pulled out all the stops and we are eternally grateful. Thank you 💚🖤
