We’re Ristorante Di Pompello, and we love bringing the comforting joy of authentic Italian food to your wedding day. Based in Troutdale, Oregon, we travel all over the Portland & Vancouver areas to help couples celebrate. For us, wedding catering isn’t just about putting food on a table—it’s about creating an experience that feels like you. Whether you're dreaming of a big pasta buffet where everyone leaves stuffed, or an elegant seated dinner, we work closely with you to make it happen without breaking your budget. Everything we serve is made with love, including our signature sauces crafted fresh from scratch daily.

Because every wedding is unique, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all packages. Instead, we build custom estimates based on exactly what you need. If you just want us to drop off the food, we can do that. If you want us to do absolutely everything—from delivery and beautiful buffet setups to providing sweet, professional servers and licensed bartenders—we’ve got you covered. You choose the level of service, and we'll handle the rest so you can focus on enjoying your big day!

    Wonderful Service and Tasty Food!

    From our first conversation with Ristorante Di Pompello, we knew we had found our caterer. They stayed in touch throughout the planning process and answered every question we had with professionalism and care. On the day of our wedding, they arrived on time and made sure every plate was hot and perfectly cooked, nothing was overdone or underdone. We were impressed that they kept the gluten-free options separate and honestly, they tasted just as good as everything else, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the crab cakes during cocktail hour. The bartenders worked fast to get drinks flowing and made our toasts happen seamlessly. At the end of the night, all our leftovers were packaged up and labeled so we could enjoy the food later. We couldn't have asked for a better catering team. Heidi is truly on top of everything and makes sure your event runs smoothly with planning meetings and ongoing quotes.

    Absolutely Amazing Services !!

    Pompello Catering was absolutely incredible. A few months before our wedding, our venue fell through and we had to switch locations. Pompellos was very understanding and worked with us to make the necessary changes. The day of service was just perfect. The staff were so friendly and professional. The food was delicious— we’ve heard endless praises for the quality. The prices were very fair, especially considering the outstanding quality and the ease of the process. We couldn’t have been happier with Pompello Catering :))

    Great team and DELICIOUS food!

    Pompello's catered our wedding and they did not disappoint. We selected the pasta bar option and it was delicious. Our guests were very happy with the food. Pompello's was incredibly accommodating with dietary restrictions and was able to put together different options for our gluten-free and vegan guests. Heidi and her team were great to work with when it came to check ins and answering all our questions leading up the wedding. The staff who were on site for our wedding day were lovely and professional. I would absolutely recommend Ristorante Di Pompello to any couple looking for a caterer for their special day!

    Consistently great

    We work with Ristorante Di Pompello often and always enjoy seeing the familiar faces. The food is absolutely delicious. Salad, bruschetta, then a variety of entrees for every guest with every dietary requirement. We'd confidently recommend them to any couple looking for a caterer who consistently produces tasty food.

Tastings start at $25 per person for 6 different pastas of your choice, all 3 starter salads, and our bread & bruschetta. If you're interested in meat entrees or appetizers, you can add these on. We schedule Tastings most Mon-Thu between 3:30-8:00.
Yes! You can rent many items directly from us, or we can help with rentals from another company
For a small per person fee, we can cut and plate your wedding cake
As long as the date is available, you can book with a $200 deposit. Saturdays in the summer fill up quickly - we recommend 9-12 months in advance.
Our catering pricing starts with 20 people. We can fill smaller orders at restaurant menu prices
Northeast Oregon & Southwest Washington. We're based in Troutdale and frequently travel to Portland, Salem, Vancouver, Mt. Hood, Washougal, Columbia River Gorge.
Travel time is billed at hourly per staff member, plus a mileage fee per vehicle based on distance. Let me know your location!
Yes! We can easily customize for: Gluten Free Dairy Free Vegetarian Vegan We can provide options for specific allergies* We have options for Kosher and Halal. *Because we prepare a variety of foods in our facility, there is always some risk of cross contamination. When informed of allergies, we take extra precautions to reduce that risk. Severe allergies may require an alternative.
Typically we'll touch base: - For an Estimate (phone or email) - Before/After your Tasting (Tastings are with a server at the restaurant) - 2 months ahead (phone) - 1 month ahead (email, phone if you'd like) - 1 week ahead to finalize (phone) You may have questions along the way, and we're happy to help!
