Gordan and Marie’s wedding was inspired by the idea that a beautiful wedding meal should feel just as memorable as the celebration itself. I wanted to create an experience that felt elegant, welcoming, and thoughtfully paced for 125 guests—while showing couples how thoughtful catering can elevate the entire reception. One of my favorite details was creating a small appetizer buffet specifically for the wedding party and immediate family. While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the wedding party was busy taking photos and wouldn’t have had an opportunity to enjoy it. The bride wanted to make sure they had something delicious to munch on while they captured those special moments. It’s a simple detail, but it speaks to how catering can be customized around the flow of a wedding—not just the menu. For the guests, the experience begins with passed appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by a beautifully plated salad and then a generous, thoughtfully presented buffet. Every element was designed with the guest experience in mind. For Gordan and Marie, this wedding represents what I love most about catering: anticipating needs, creating beautiful food, and making sure everyone—from the bride and groom to their guests—feels cared for and celebrated.

Justin and Kim’s wedding was inspired by two worlds coming together—and we wanted the menu to tell that story. Justin is a city boy, Kim is an island girl, and their celebration brings those two personalities together in the most delicious way: a surf and turf wedding in the country for 75 of their closest family and friends. For cocktail hour, we imagined food that felt fun, approachable, and full of flavor. Guests can mingle over crispy Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls paired with a colorful crudité display, creating an inviting start to the celebration without overwhelming the palate before dinner. Then comes the centerpiece of the experience: a Surf & Turf buffet that represents Justin and Kim perfectly. Our Garlic-Pepper Chicken brings the hearty, savory comfort you expect from a country-inspired celebration, while grilled Mahi brings a bright, coastal influence that nods to Kim’s island spirit. Rice Pilaf, creamy Mac & Cheese, and colorful Mixed Vegetables round out the buffet with familiar favorites that make everyone feel at home. The inspiration behind Justin and Kim’s wedding is really about creating harmony—city meets country, land meets sea, with comfort & flavor. It’s proof that a wedding menu doesn’t have to fit into one box. It can reflect two different people, backgrounds, and tastes coming together to create something uniquely theirs. That’s what we love about catering: turning a couple’s story into an experience their guests can taste, enjoy, and remember.
