We're Adam and the Slo' Motion BBQ family—a husband-and-wife team serving authentic Wisconsin Oak-smoked BBQ at weddings across SE Wisconsin. Since 2019, we've catered 200+ weddings, and it never gets old seeing couples and their guests fall in love with real wood-fired BBQ. What started in our backyard has become our life's work. We're not a corporate catering company—we're your neighbors who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. Our faith and family values guide everything we do, and we treat every wedding like it's happening in our own backyard. Great food, serious fun, and full(filling) experiences!

Three things: the smoke, the show, and the soul. We're the only Wisconsin caterer using 100% Wisconsin Oak for every wedding—no gas, no shortcuts. That authentic smoke becomes part of your wedding atmosphere. Our food trailer creates an interactive experience as guests watch us carve brisket fresh off the smoker. We've served 200+ weddings and we're preferred vendors at 6 top venues, so we know how to work seamlessly with your team. No MSG, no artificial ingredients—just honest BBQ made with quality we'd serve at our own family table. We show up early, stay flexible, and make your day flow perfectly.

    Slo Motion catered our recent 350-guest event and did an absolute phenomenal job! ​Despite a transition with our initial sales contact, Kathy and Adam stepped in without missing a beat. Their communication was top-notch, keeping us informed every step of the way. ​The food was outstanding—tender chicken, flavorful pig roasted and carved right on-site, and delicious sides that had our guests going back for seconds. Adam and his crew were so helpful, taking care of setup and execution seamlessly. Huge thanks to Kathy, Adam, and the team for making our event such a success. We highly recommend them!

    If you’re looking for incredible BBQ, look no further than Slo’Motion BBQ. Absolutely to die for. The brisket was unbelievably buttery, tender, and packed with flavor. The chicken was just as impressive…juicy, smoky, and cooked perfectly. The potato salad and mac & cheese were the perfect finishing touch and clearly made with just as much care as the meats. You can taste the quality in every bite. Slo-Motion is hands down the only BBQ stop you need. Highly recommend! We had Slo’Motion onsite at our workplace. Excellent choice.👍
