The Wandering Pour

Mobile Bar

Massachusetts-licensed mobile bar service serving Cape Cod, Boston, Newport RI, and beyond. Craft cocktails, mobile bars, and full-service bartending for weddings and events. 12C licensed, TIPS-certified, fully insured.

Our 12C licensing is just the foundation. What makes working with us feel different is how we show up for people. Our couples consistently tell us we were the most stress-free vendor they worked with, and we take that seriously. Real communication, fast responses, and a team that invests in making your event feel like yours. A cocktail tasting built around your actual taste preferences. Our clients say it best

These are just a few snippets from our Google reviews. “From start to finish, The Wandering Pour made planning our wedding so easy.” “They were responsive to every question we had and kept us in the loop with a clear timeline leading up to the big day.” “The tasting was fantastic, and their craft cocktails became the talk of the night—guests are still asking us about them.” “What really impressed us was the branded citrus they used, which added a special touch that elevated everything. The team's professionalism and attention to detail went above and beyond what we expected.” “We would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a caterer that truly cares about making their day unforgettable.”

Yes, we offer full-service in MA anywhere from Boston, South Shore to the tips of Cape Cod with our 12C licensing. We currently operate as a dry-hire in RI from Newport, Jamestown and Bristol to Providence.
Yes. We're fully licensed under a Massachusetts 12C license, which means we're legally permitted to sell and serve alcohol at your wedding or event. This is different from bartenders who only pour alcohol you've already purchased, my license covers the full service, including sourcing and serving the alcohol. We serve weddings across Greater Boston, the South Shore, Cape Cod, and here in Massachusetts more broadly. In Rhode Island, we operate on a dry-hire basis, meaning we provide the bartending and setup while you supply the alcohol, since Rhode Island's laws work differently than Massachusetts.
Full-service means we handle everything, including sourcing and legally serving the alcohol ourselves under our Massachusetts 12C license. Dry-hire means we provide the bartenders, bar setup, and service, but you or your venue supply the alcohol. In Massachusetts, we offer full-service bar packages. In Rhode Island, we operate on a dry-hire basis, since state law there works differently. Both options come with the same professional bartending and setup you'd expect either way.
We have five bar setups to fit different event sizes and styles. Marley is a converted 1997 classic mini truck with serving top, fully customizable with one-of-a-kind character. Penny is a 6-foot wooden bar, and Ruby is a 4-foot wooden bar, both great for smaller or more intimate events. Yoshi is a 3.5-foot tap cart, perfect for craft beer or nitro cold brew service. And The Ocean is a 14-foot double circular bar, ideal for larger weddings that want a bar as a real centerpiece. We can help you choose the right fit based on your guest count, venue, and style.
Pricing depends on a few things: your guest count, which bar setup you choose, whether you need full-service or dry-hire, and any custom menu additions. Packages typically start around $1,500 for smaller events and scale up from there for larger guest counts. We create custom beverage programs for our clients. The best way to get an accurate number is to reach out for a quote, and we're happy to walk through options on a quick call.
Yes. We love working with couples to make the bar feel like a natural part of their wedding design, not just a functional station off to the side. Whether you're going for rustic and romantic, modern and minimal, or bold and colorful, we can tailor the setup, from bar linens and florals to glassware and signage, to fit your vision. Our fleet includes options like Patsy, a converted vintage horse trailer bar with rustic charm, and The Ocean, a 14-foot double circular bar that works beautifully for larger, more elevated affairs, so we can pick the setup that fits your aesthetic from the start.
Absolutely. We work with couples to build a cocktail menu that reflects their taste, their wedding colors, or even a shared memory, like a drink from your first date or your engagement trip. We can also incorporate seasonal ingredients, local spirits, or a signature drink named after the two of you. Non-alcoholic and mocktail options are always available too, so every guest has something to enjoy. Tastings are a great time to explore flavor directions together.
