Art by Dustina specializes in creating one-of-a-kind live wedding paintings that capture the beauty and emotion of your wedding day. I paint on-site during your celebration, allowing you and your guests to watch the artwork come to life, then carefully finish the piece in my studio to ensure every detail feels complete. Each painting is created with oil paint and customized around the moment that matters most to you, whether that’s your first kiss, first dance, ceremony, or another special part of the day. My goal is to create more than just artwork, but a meaningful keepsake you can display in your home and enjoy for years to come.

What sets Art by Dustina apart is the personal experience behind every painting. I focus on capturing not only how your wedding day looks, but how it feels. Couples can choose the moment, setting, and meaningful details they want included, making each piece completely unique to them. I work primarily in oil paint, allowing me to build rich color and detail both live at the wedding and afterward in my studio. Guests also get to watch the painting come to life throughout the celebration, creating an additional experience on the wedding day while leaving the couple with a lasting piece of art afterward.

    Canvas painting

    6/20 Wedding!

    We had Dusty as our live wedding painter at our wedding on June 20, 2026, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the day! I booked her just a couple of weeks before our wedding, and she was so quick to respond and provided such helpful information throughout the entire process. She traveled to us, arrived around 2 PM to begin painting, and stayed throughout the night. Our guests absolutely loved watching her work, and she was so kind and friendly with everyone. I also loved that the colors she used in the painting tied in perfectly with our bright, colorful wedding. After the wedding, she shipped the finished painting to us so quickly and was wonderful about communicating with me and making the changes I requested. The painting is already hung up in our home, and I am absolutely in love with it! It is such a special keepsake from our wedding day, and I’m so excited to have it forever. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding painter, and I will definitely be hiring her again in the future for another commission!

    Beautiful work

    Dustina did a beautiful job painting my daughter and son in law a canvas on their wedding day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Dustina is very responsive to messages, dependable and so sweet. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I arrive before the moment you would like painted to set up and prepare the background and composition. During your wedding, guests can watch the painting come to life in real time. After the event, I bring the painting back to my studio to complete the finer details and finishing touches.
Not completely. Because I work with oil paint and focus on creating a detailed, polished final piece, I complete the painting in my studio after the wedding. This allows me to take my time with important details while still giving you and your guests the live painting experience on your wedding day.
You can choose the moment that feels most meaningful to you, such as your first kiss, ceremony, first dance, or another special moment from the day. We will discuss your vision beforehand so I can plan the composition around the moment and setting you love most.
Absolutely! Each painting is customized to the couple. We can discuss meaningful details, specific people, décor, venue elements, or other special touches you would like incorporated. Additional people can also be added depending on your package and preferences.
Travel within 1 hour of Crown Point, IN, is included in the cost. However, I'm willing to travel roughly 3 hours for a travel fee, and even further with a travel and lodging fee.
I use high-quality oil paints to give my paintings deeper, richer colors and a beautiful, lasting finish.
