We specialize in elevated event rentals that transform spaces into intentional, beautifully designed experiences. At Once Upon a Chair, we go beyond standard rentals by curating seating, draping, and tabletop elements that feel cohesive, modern, and thoughtfully styled. Based in Jacksonville and serving Northeast Florida and beyond, we work closely with planners, venues, and clients who value design, quality, and seamless execution. From timeless classics to trend-forward pieces, our inventory is carefully selected to help bring each event vision to life with intention and impact.

We don’t just do rentals— we help create experiences. At Once Upon a Chair, we go above and beyond for our clients, every time. We’re known for being reliable, detail-oriented, and for delivering seamless setups that exceed expectations. We approach rentals as design elements, not just inventory. Our pieces are carefully curated to elevate the overall look of each event and create a cohesive, intentional aesthetic. Our clients trust us because we show up, we execute, and we do things right — every time.

    Impeccable products and service!

Once Upon a Chair is an exceptional wedding rentals provider that I highly recommend. Their communication style is prompt, thorough, and caring, ensuring a seamless experience for their clients. The quality of their work is unmatched, with a tasteful and unparalleled selection that is universally appealing. They went above and beyond for my client's special day, ordering a custom dance floor that wasn't part of their standard inventory. The owners are also extremely flexible, communicating clearly with both clients and vendors, and are bilingual, which is a valuable asset for many couples. I cannot speak highly enough of Once Upon a Chair and the incredible service they provide.

Such a friendly and professional team! They provide a very personalized service, with clear communication and incredibly fast responses. Every item we’ve rented has always been spotless and in like-new condition. Highly recommend

Yes, we offer delivery, setup, and breakdown to ensure everything is installed correctly and looks seamless. Our team handles all logistics so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Delivery fees vary based on location and event requirements.
Yes, you can make adjustments up to 14 days before your event date. After that, we begin preparing and allocating inventory, so changes may not be possible. We always recommend finalizing your order as early as possible to guarantee availability.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding seasons. Popular items like chairs, draping, and dance floors tend to book quickly, and availability is not guaranteed closer to the date.
Our minimum order starts at $500. Most of our clients invest between $1,000–$4,000 depending on the size and design of the event. We focus on curated rentals that elevate the entire look, so we’re not the best fit for very small orders.
Absolutely. While we focus on rentals, we also guide our clients on how to combine pieces like chairs, draping, bars, and tabletop elements to create a cohesive and elevated design. Small upgrades can make a big difference, and we’re happy to recommend options that align with your vision and budget.
Yes, we specialize in custom draping designs to transform any space. Whether you want to soften a room, create a backdrop, or fully elevate the look of your event, we design each setup to feel cohesive and intentional. Many of our clients add draping to enhance the overall atmosphere and create a more elevated experience.
